How to make a safe require a key?

    In the game is there any way to make a safe requier a key? I tried typeing lock "name of key" but that didn't work.

    I also tried typing "lock 1000" and it said that the safe needed a key but it didn't specify which one? how would i make the safe need a specific key?

    I would also like to know the answer to this question. having safes in hearthfire with no locks and no keys is just silly. Takes away from the realism.

    I know how to do it in creation kit, but not in the game console. :/
