So far I'm stuck with; the Stones of Barenziah (5), an Ivory Dragon Claw, an Attunment Sphere, Sinderion's Field Journal and an Elder Scroll... Oh, and a Gauldur Amulet Fragment...

stones of barenziah(14), attunement sphere, margaret's journal, nurelion's mixture, and a few other small things like notes and other journals.

by the way younglord, you can get rid of the elder scroll. you can sell it to the orc in the arcaneum at the mage's college, that thing is like twenty pounds plus he gives you 2000 gold for it (as long as you have already used it in the main quest)

yeah, I know about how to sell the scroll but the thing is, I'm not even that far into the main quest yet so until then...

A whole bunch. When I started the game, I decided to just wander the countryside and explore, rather than immerse myself in the storyline. Consequently, I ended up with a bunch of quest items. Although I still have a lot, it is kind of weird now to run up on a quest where a NPC tells me to embark upon a long and arduous quest to bring back (X), and I just say "oh, here it is."

Finn's Lute, Rjorn's Drum, Pantea's Flute, Three (WTF) Amulets of Talos, Stones of Barenziah (several), Ivory Dragon Claw, and I feel like the farking Keymaker from the Matrix movie.

I know there's a quest derived from completing the set, but can you actually quest specifically for the pieces, or are they simply scattered throughout the land waiting to be found? I've managed to find but 4 (no idea where), and I've done a ton of quests.

Also, to those who've found and sold them all, what is the reward?

I LOL'd at the Keymaker. I have so many of them too. I decided to dump all the duplicates in a barrel in one of my houses. Come to think of it, I might dump them in some random barrel so they get respawn deleted.

I have all those musical instruments too on my first character. I even was at the Bards College and found a woman that gave me the option to tell her I have the Lute... she was all happy, but didn't take it.

I had the same problem with the Talos amulets but I finally found who I was supposed to give one to and was able to get rid of the rest afterwards.

The stones of Barenziah are a pain... they weigh like a pound each.

I also have (well had) the "strange amulet" from a quest, even after I finished it I was stuck with it. So I just used the console to make it go away.

Are the bounty report quests for a specific quest? Are they named? I've seen notes that are just labeled "bounty" and I just stuff them in a draw. Even when I haven't completed what it says.

If you've got too many things in your inventory, just drop them all on the ground LOL. No need to store them in a special barrel or container.

LOL, well, I'm tend to keep one of every key just in case I have to go back to where ever it was I got the key. It's the duplicates that I throw away :D

Yeah, I've 'found' junk I've dropped in areas of town that never seem to disappear. I think it's safer than some of those containers that seem to empty themselves periodically!

LOl, yeah. I tend to usually get too sidetracked to throw away all the keys and stuff anyhow. I'm always clearing out a cave, doing a quest, testing out my newest spell on someone walking past, etc.

I hate having to carry all these miscellaneous quest items that I can't even get rid of. Some of them, I just pick up without thinking. Now I got an extra 2 pound in my inventory that I cannot get rid of and now I HAVE to go all the way to Solitude and give back the stupid helmet to a hobo. I mean, they are miscellaneous quests. They are not essential. Some people might rage after selling/throwing them by accident but do we all have to suffer because some people are careless about getting 100%?
