Mundus 9-5, Oblivion weekends
EDITED 6TH OF NOV., 2023: Oh boy! Please be advised, there is a lot I am working on in the vein of necromancy again! Please read last post made on this day!

EDITED 24TH OF FEB. And rather than re-linking builds to the site I used years ago (the links don't appear to work anymore), I made my own perk tree maps for my builds. Click here to see all my current character builds (that aren't level one playthroughs, obviously)

I play Skyrim. Like others that do, I end up gaining experience in skills, harvesting plants, and lots of other things that can be done when you're doing them... I'd like to include builds that I have made and other things I've learned, etc.

To begin:

Altmer / level 1 / Failed Hobbyist Necromancer / Altimer
Build status: Non-applicable

Major Quest Progression:

Main timeline - Done
Civil War - Completed on the Stormcloak's side - For the benefit of acquiring Vlindrel Hall before level 20.
Thieves Guild - Done
College of Winterhold - Completed
Dark Brotherhood - Completed
Companions - Done

Various/Artifacts:

Barenziah's Crown
All the masks.
Other stuff.

Cannots:

Obviously many of the Daedric artifacts cannot be acquired.
Shield of Solitude - Tied to leveling up.
Mjoll's Grimsever - Available at level 14.
Avanchnzel's bugged quest reward - Available at level 16(?) or something.
etc.

Follower: Recently dismissed Jenassa.
Thrall: Kematu w/ ebony sword @ 32dmg & scimitar @ 29dmg
Married to: Uthgerd the Unbroken

Early notes: Arguably my most complete playthrough. I've done a couple other level one playthroughs but come up short. This Altmer is my favourite. The extra magicka helps tons. The Lord Stone. The unfortunate thing about being so complete is that most all the notable bodies are long gone. (I'd started this character before becoming a serious necromancer.)

Later notes: I'm especially proud of the Orcish Sword of Absorption, Steel Plate Helmet, Leather Boots of Hauling, & Steel Warhammer of Ice (15pts of frost dmg). I've found things like Studded Armour of Major Health, but they pale in comparison to a plate helmet or absorb health enchantment on a weapon from random loot. I about fell over when I got the plate helmet. haha... I did have an Elven Bow, too, but I put a dumb enchantment on it. So, I sold it. I hope to find another one.

Also, I moved from Vlindrel Hall to Cracked Tusk Keep recently. I figured Uthgerd was sick of seeing dead bodies lying all over the place.

Body Collection:

Drelas
Afflicted
Kematu
Velehk Sain
Dremora Churl (from Azura's Star)
Dremora Churl (from Shalidor's Maze)
Movarth Piquine (has respawned once)
Erandur
Thorek
Rulindil

Beem-Ja
Krev the Skinner
Ghunzul
Adelaisa Vendicci
Skjor
Linwe

I apparently completely forgot about the Master Vampire I used to have at the time of the original post here. Don't know where he went. Luckily, I wrote I got him from Shriekwind here, so I'll go get him back next time I play Altimer.

Additional corpse notes: I seem to recall having already tried keeping the members of the Companions in the past; or perhaps it was from reading what others wrote in Living with the Dead-- either way, I did go and collect them recently; however, unfortunately, they appear to be affected by the script that calls them out to hunt even in death. This affects all but Skjor. So, you can be gone for a time, come back, and then whichever random members will have disappeared and "gone out to hunt." I haven't found a solution to this yet. It may be possible to keep them by breaking the script somehow.

It's also pretty easy to break Farkas. I don't know much about the rest, because I was just in collecting mode. It seems like if you hit him after a fight, he'll be a frozen body on the next reanimation. Honestly, it's been so long since I last went rooting out reanimation bugs and such, so this behavior is far from thoroughly observed.

Oh, and apparently I'd killed Lydia and left her with the cow in Whiterun. I recall this inspired me to collect all the housecarls with Farelda.

Current mission: Find a way to keep the Companions. Gah!

Khajiit / level 26 / Necromancer/Axe Specialist / Tajiin
Build status: Complete

Major Quest Progression:

Main timeline - Alduin's Wall
Civil War - not started
Thieves Guild - Scoundrel's Folly
College of Winterhold - Completed
Dark Brotherhood - Mourning Never Comes
Companions - not started

Various/Artifacts:

Targe of the Blooded - essential for Tajiin's build
Other stuff, including: not all the masks

Cannots:

Ebony Mail - Available at level 30
Can't think of any others...

Follower: Discmissed Benor ages ago.
Thrall: Bandit Marauder (from Raldbthur)(Redguard)

Early notes: My main aim with this build was to just make everything bleed. Currently lives out of the Abandoned House. The Warrior Stone. Targe of the Blooded's ability to make anything bleed makes this build very fun. Still need to get Witbane. My particular strain of Break Bone gives me 0 reduction to Stamina, so I decided to get them all.

Later notes: I apparently cured myself at some point So long, curious Break Bone disease... Tajiin now lives in Proudspire. The Mages Stone. I've been running around with dual axes. Absorb 1pt stamina on the right, named, Tajiin's Right Paw of Death. That's daedric with an unenchanted elven quality one in the left for use with Elemental Fury. Vanilla bugs with Elemental Fury are kind of aggravating, but it's not game breaking, if you know what to avoid and that.

I was putting together a destruction magic build when I last played Tajiin. That idea hasn't entirely been scrapped, but it has been placed on the backburner.

Oh, yea... And I found the corpse of Nana Ildene in Goldenglow Estate about last week or so. She had Borvir's dagger. Not really sure what I was thinking, but that's that. Now I know where I to find her.

-- (build found at link at top) --

Body Collection:

Ancano
Erandur
Ghunzul
Agna
Ondolemar
Bandit Chief (can't remember where from)(Nord)
Tsavani
Shavari
Valdr

Chief Yamarz (Beefy version)
Blackblood Marauder (Nord)
Bandit Marauder (from Raldbthur)(Redguard)

I did have a skeleton, too, but I think he took off some time ago.

Additional corpse notes: I don't expect anyone to go through all the pages of Living with the Dead to find my notes on Ancano and how to GR him. I'll update that stuff here when I get around to it.

Current mission: Tajiin wants to get Cicero. So, he's slowly working through the Dark Brotherhood.

Nord / level 32 / Vampiric Cryomancer / Opal the Dragon Slayer
Build status: Complete

Major Quest Progression:

Main timeline - Alduin's Bane
Civil War - Sided with Stormcloaks to acuire Tullius
Thieves Guild - Hard Answers
College of Winterhold - Revealing the Unseen
Dark Brotherhood - With Friends Like These...
Companions - not started

Various/Artifacts: (to be updated)

Otar

Cannots:

Complete Loud and Clear (I wrote this, but I don't remember why. I think it was for roleplay purposes... Not sure what to do about that now.)
Complete Staff of Magnus/Eye of Magnus (Revealing the Unseen bugs out this way by keeping the full health version of Savos Aren.)
Shield of Solitude (because I forgot to save a level after finishing the quest.)
Enter Frostmere Crypt (because that'll cause Eisa to be deleted.)

Follower: None
Thrall: Ra'kheran (I believe. I'm sort of in a rut with Opal right now.)

Early notes: Hinted by her name, Opal the Dragon Slayer was meant to be a natural born dragon slayer. Though I am sure she will succeed in this bracket eventually, the emphasis of a typical warrior shifted to one more reliant on thralls. Sorry. I'm hopeless, I know. With a few quick alterations I was able to adapt her into another necromancer. A stunted level 32 vampiric cryomancer, in fact! I got her the full health version of Savos, and then carried on to break Ill Met by Moonlight, and the rest is history. Others on my list will be Thorek and his buddy. Lives in Goldenglow Estate. Mage Stone.

Later notes: As mentioned above, I'm sort of lost as to how to play Opal now. I want to completely re-evaluate her loadout and battle strategy. The way I used to play is not really how I want to anymore, so learning how to get her to be fun during combat will take some time.

-- (build found at link at top) --

Body Collection:

Ra'kheran
Rissing
Eisa Blackthorn
General Tullius
Captain Hargar
Golldir (Blades version)

Vaermina Devotee (Altmer)

Outside guarding the door is a Lowlife (Orc) & Mercenary (?Breton).

Additional corpse notes: I'll include what I can about the guys from Bloated Man's Grotto and Broken Oar Grotto when I get around to it. It's all in Living with the Dead, of course.

Redguard / level 34 / Necromancer/Runner / Dastan the Runner
Build status: Complete

Major Quest Progression:

Main timeline - Diplomatic Immunity
Civil War - Sided with Imperial Legion for Ulfric Stormcloak
Thieves Guild - Darkness Returns (plan to keep skeleton key)
College of Winterhold - Done
Destroy the Dark Brotherhood - Astrid and Veezara so far
Companions - not started

Various/Artifacts: (to be updated)

Rahgot

Cannots:

Can't think of any right now... ... None?.

Follower: None
Thrall: Krev the Skinner

Early notes: Dastan was originally going to be a runner-- a true runner! Ended up just collecting bodies instead. Resides in Helgen Keep. Spacious and roomy for a body collector. Mage Stone. You may notice the build is for a level 33. Sadly this is what happens when you mess up, and my dual casting Conjuration paid the price.

Later notes: Not much to add here. I haven't played much Dastan since getting back into Skyrim.

-- (build found at link at top) --

Body Collection:

Outside Ardwen's dog is sitting and waiting.

I lost Torturer at some point. I may have simply let him go to get back an anchor when I was short on them. I wish I could remember. He might be SFR at a certain point. I'll have to look back on my posts in Living with the Dead to find out for sure.

Additional corpse notes: I believe I wrote down how to get "working" Forsworn versons of Madanach and his gang in Living with the Dead. I'll add that here eventually.

Salma is acquired by not completing Coming of Age.

Current mission: Acquire Adelaisa, Mjoll, and Derkeethus to complete the merc/follower collection.

Dunmer / level 40 / Vampiric Necromage / Farelda
Build status: Complete

Major Quest Progression:

Main timeline - Done
Civil War - Sided with Stormcloaks/Done
Thieves Guild - Hard Answers
College of Winterhold - Done
Dark Brotherhood - Hail Sithis! (sort of staying here so that Commander Maro stays permanent. Not sure if he loses permanency after completing this quest.)
Companions - not started

Various/Artifacts: (to be updated)

Vokun, Otar, Rahgot, Volsung, Krosis, Morokei
Crown of Barenziah

Cannots:

Shield of Solitude (same reason as Opal)

Follower: Dismissed Derkeethus. Now with Adelaisa (in full daedric for whatever reason. Mostly because it's a really amusing, dumb thing to give to a member of the East Empire Company.)
Thrall: Champion of Boethiah & J'darr (J'darr obviously has the Poacher's Axe and a shiv and carries lots of empty skooma bottles. This is a given. J'darr always has to have this loadout.)
Married to: Angrenor Once-Honored

Early notes: Intended to be a more complete body collector since Altimer had long since lost the chance to collect many bodies in the game. Still many names to acquire yet, including some already rewarded on other characters. Living in Vlidrel Hall. Ritual Stone. In the process of amassing a Draugr army. Seeing as how Lu'ah dropped the ball on that one, I felt it necessary to finish what she'd started. Joined the Stormcloaks to later enthrall available housecarl. Have not obtained Lydia yet.

Later notes: As can be seen below, the housecarls collected is completed, as well as the Orc follower collection. Lob resists dead thrall at 40, so I got him on Opal instead. The Atronach Stone. When I left off threeish years ago, I'd begun to play with spell absorption from Circle of Protection to be able to use destruction magic in combat. Now I've, more or less, perfected how to play Farelda by combining paralysis spells and invisibility to avoid dying, letting her thralls be the aggressors. It's incredibly fun.

-- (build found at link at top) --

Bandit Marauder (w/ steel horned helmet!)(?)(Orc)

Farelda lost Weylin, the Bandit Chief with the journal, and Ondolemar. (I'll have to look up my posts to find out if Ondolemar had to be let go.) Brandish is SFR once you get to Battle for Whiterun (have to check posts to make sure), so I couldn't keep him. Was it worth finishing the civil war timeline in place of keeping Brandish? I don't know. It's pretty sad to lose a body. Doesn't matter who it is...

Additional corpse notes: Rigel, unbeknownst to me, had respawned. When I came back to Skyrim and entered Pinewatch for the heck of it, my undead necromancer heart skipped a beat. Seeing Rigel lying in bed there about made me burst out crying tears of joy.

Apparently, as I read now, Lob's max level is only 30. The fact he resists at 40 is curious. I'll have to do some experimenting.

Current mission: Not sure. Farelda is feeling pretty content right now.

Early notes: Simpy tried something new. Nothing much else to say. The Lord Stone.

Later notes: Did the something new, and now moving on to Qa'ashi, who is to probably become Riddle's successor. His daughter perhaps?

-- (build found at link at top) --

(((Then the stuff below I left alone.)))

In Closing:

I would like to branch off with additional notes on Dead Thralls in general. This will include tips and/or give attention to unique thrall abilities or powers, etc., and offer various items I've learned over the course of the last half year or so. It will take a while to gather the courage for this task. I wish it to be as detailed as needed, thus, making it a project in its own right.

There will also eventually be a collection of notes I've made on Alchemy. This piece will take a length of time dependent on my ability to grab my book of notes and type them in.

I apologise for all delays that will inevitably come about.

...and thanks for reading,

Cheers

I would have liked to align all these lists and such to columns to save space... It's probably too late now. I don't know how much time it would take to fit the info into them, even if I knew how.

Decent potions for your growing alchemical needs: (Generally sorted. The first mixture is second in potency without the beneficial effects bonus perk.)

EDITED SPOT AREA PLACE:

In keeping with the groove of linking images, I've opted to do just that instead of rewriting what changes I've made! Hurray! Just click somewhere around here!

/end

Some Human Heart locations:

Bruca's Leap Redoubt
Ilnalta's Deep
Liar's Retreat
Dragontooth Crater
Brittleshin Pass

Obviously sites of Black Sacrament will yield Human Hearts as well. The more inconspicuous of them is the site inside Maven's Manor in Riften

Notes: i have omitted Jarrin Root and Crimson Nirnroot from these lists for reason I am not totally aware of.

Remember the Speech perk that allows selling anything to any merchant lets more rare ingredients to appear in alchemist's goods list. These include: Powdered Mammoth Tusk, Beehive Husk, Small Pearl, Pearl, Wisp Wrappings, Honeycomb(?), and Sabre Cat Tooth. Human Heart and Human Flesh will still not be available for purchase, however.

I am sure there are other notes that I do not recall...

Added to the Alchemy stub... The Dead Thrall section may have to be completed in portions. I am not entirely sure how I'll even begin with it. Then again, maybe I'll just start by linking a great starter guide for Necromancers: StucklnMyPants' Dead Thrall Guide.

So, most everything in the main area is outdated and almost totally obsolete now... Well, I'll get around to updating it one of these days. Builds and such are still good, but... Eh, don't want to edit this stuff right now.

I will now supply a link to my stream channel. While I greatly dislike going out and linking these things together, it does make sense to. After all, what better way to show off my body collections?

Neat screenshots of them will now be available at this location: http://en-ca.twitch.tv/hasfeet

Hurrah!

Eventually I'll get around to completing name lists and preferences, etc... But, that'll be another thing that will have to wait.

Construction has finally begun on the thrall section. (Yea, it's taken me some time to gather the courage to start...)

As is, thrall write-ups will, more or less, correspond to the command responses from Thrall_Bot, my Twitch channel bot. I am feeling rather lazy right now, so completion will not take place over night. For the better half of this addition to this thread, all that is required is simple copy-pasting. Sadly, I just don't want to do it... On the bright side, I've opted to alphabetically arrange the thralls, and will be leaving out the pictures I'd included in thrall lists in the Dead Thrall thread. Eventually I want to modify the values of "Max Player Level" to address thralls who's levels are below the max Dead Thrall reanimation level. This will give a better idea as to whether a thrall will be helpful or not at whatever player level he/she is at. These values will also be respected by Thrall_Bot...

Lastly, I've updated the first portion of this thread as to be consistent with the procrastination that has been most prevalent in this thread. Instead of updating many of the fields, "to be updated" has been inserted. Again, it'll be nice to add more notes to the various builds, especially to glimpse at where they're all at right now. "Later notes" fields have been added so that there may some day be some indication of growth in the characters. Funnily, I enjoy thinking about what I'll write in, but doing it is another matter...

edit:

Ah yes, and my newest characters will also be added to the main post. I wonder when that will happen?

Holy smokes... I kind of went crazy with Skyrim for a while there... Right now I'm in the pits because I've decided to hook up Discord to my bot and have the thrall pictures display in the results... I wish I'd never used photobucket... This site is soooo clunky and takes forever to load anything. It's a friggin' pain in my backside!

Handy poisons:

Paralysis, LDH
Imp Stool w/ Canis Root/Briar Heart
& Orange Dartwing/Slaughterfish Egg

Weakness to Poison, Slow, DMG
Deathbell w/ River Betty
& Giant Lichen

Weakness to Poison, DMG, Ravage
Deathbell w/ Skeever Tail
& Giant Lichen

Damage Health, LDH
Crimson Nirnroot w/ Imp Stool
& Slaughterfish Scales

Damage Health notes:

House recommends using Crimson Nirnroot with most anything other than Deathbell and River Betty. It's a waste. Deathbell is valuable because it is potent on its own; while River Betty brings down the potency of the poison altogether. And in a similar way, regular Nirnroot will detrimentally affect a poison when using Deathbell. Best to use them for other things. Using Crimson Nirnroot with Deathbell might be helpful when adding a Weakness to Poison effect; however, with the rule of Weakness to Poison in mind, again: it's probably better to use other ingredients.

... It's definitely saddening we aren't allowed to choose to use a poison when it's converted to a "potion." ... All well...

Some boosters:

Heavy Armour, Block
Slaughtfish Scales w/ Thistle Branch
& Tundra Cotton/Bleeding Crown

Health potion
Wheat w/ Blue Mountain Flower

Stamina potion
Lavender w/ Torchbug Thorax
& Mudcrab Chitin

Magicka potion
Jazbay Grapes w/ Moon Sugar/Fire Salts
& Red Mountain Flower

Resist elements
Snowberries w/ Hawk Beak
& Bonemeal/Resist Fire

Coming back to my trader/illusionist, Wezzar, I stumbled on the combination of Rock Warbler Egg, Hanging Moss, and Blue Mountain Flower. This concoction happens to be a poison with Fortify One-Handed and Fortify and Restore Health. This is, in theory, perfect for his roleplay since he really doesn't like fighting. There is potential to use this poison on a quest companion to help them move along faster. I'm going to try it out on Erandur during the Dawnstar daedric quest for Vaermina. Maybe it'll work out well... hehe

And since I'm posting, I figured I'd point out I missed Fortify Two-Handed way back when, up there amongst all the other alchemy resource material. Not sure how that came to be, but it's a thing. (Unless it is actually there but hidden and invisible...) +1, me!

EDIT: oh yea... And technically this isn't really 360 anymore. It is and it isn't. :/

It's been a couple days, and I've been slowly getting back into the groove of playing... And like it's so fun to have saved games from years back, and figuring out how they were played and such. I happen to be rather rigid, so small things like "did I collect leeks and tomatoes on this character?" is like an hour or more afair. But anyway... I'm having fun. I decided to finally get around to writing down the persons I've collected on my toons. It's going to be a very stressful thing, I think. Why? Because Opal and Dastan and Farelda all have very unique collections; and the underlying obstacle that stands in my way is (as I understand it): Farelda's collection may have taken some losses. I recall loading her up some however-long-ago, and I pretty well just quit the game in shock and disbelief. Like maybe that was a dream; maybe it wasn't... I'm really not sure. I've had dreams where I couldn't find one of my bodies, so... that's absolutely possible. Suffice to say, the fear and dread that builds up in me when I consider loading Opal or Dastan threatens to-- figuratively speaking-- take all the pieces of my weak necromancer's heart and spread them all over Mundus. How am I supposed to cope if you take away my bodies?!?! This all came about following a reformat of my hard drive, If it happened at all... :/

With a bit of bad news comes a bit of good news. Yeah! You all remember how I was crazy heartbroken after losing my Spellsword and Goldenglow Mercenary on Gurzgo, right? Well, to get me started in coming back - a sort of testing out phase, to see if I could get back into playing - I made another guy. He ended up being Gurzgo's younger brother, Lurg. It was working out well. I thought it might be fun to put together a small list for how I get a character ready for becoming the next level one body collecting necromancer.
It's gone something like this:

1. Make him look super slick
2. Go crazy with potion making and buying and selling for a super okay amount of time
3. Turn down to Normal difficulty so that it won't be 5 years until level 30 heavy armour
4. Be a meat puppet for the hunter behind the first three stones (because it's an incredibly convenient place to grind levels)
5. Get up to 60 heavy armour and then do more alchemy and barter
6. Avoid as many "named" NPCs as possible, including all the places where the dungeon doesn't respawn (remember we only have that one anchor)
7. uh... Get 90 conjuration by methodically soul trapping companion
8. At around this point you should be able to survive against 1.5 wolves (I, personally, only turn down the difficulty to deal with grinding armour levels. You could do the same for destruction for the same reason, but that's another story. I haven't really explored a level one mage class since turning down the difficulty to actually kill enemies feels wrong to me... Obviously there's always training. That's expensive though)
9. Buy enough iron and leather to make 1000 daggers (or somewhere in that range)
Then 10 goes something like: Magically obtain peerless quality daedric armour with conjuration effect in two tries at the atronach forge, get the Necromancer's Amulet, and end up with 100 enchanting to make a good fortify magicka ring, or pair whatever you have with the Atronach Stone; and then it might just be possible to cast Dead Thrall once. (Remember to practice your aim!)

Congratulations! You got your first dead thrall at level 1! The next 4000 steps include obtaining every anchor in the game, alongside silly bugs or without silly bugs, collecting all your favourite characters and storing them in a safe, dry location; RNG'ing thrall loadouts and improving them, power leveling alteration in three seconds using Detect Dead, and collecting every single leek and tomato... and eidar cheese wheel.

11. Make sure to avoid contaminating tomatoes with leeks or eidar cheese by storing in separate vacuum sealed containers.

------------

It was about the time I needed to do Blood on the Ice that I decided to try playing Gurzgo a little more. I realize there was a little console command here and there, but I reinjected a Spellsword and Mercenary in to the game. Unfortunately, his Spellsword's something-or-other was conflicting with his East Empire Warden's something-or-other. If either were too close to each other when dormant, one of his Dremora Churls would disappear. And a necromancer calling hisself a body collector with any fewer than three Dremora Churls at any given time is no necromancer at all! Spellsword has to stay in another room because of that. I opted to have her stand in, in the guard position at the front entrance to Mist Watch tower. Prior to that, even getting her to stop changing into something other than a Spellsword was a bit of a trick too. I'm not entirely sure which worked, but I took some time to improve her armour and fight around a bit. She's all fine now. I'll just have to remember that I can't put those three in the same room. As soon as one "dies," the other vanishes before your eyes. Luckily this doesn't happen with "natural" bodies. I had roughly between 50 and 70 under the same roof on Dastan and Farelda; all pretty and clean.

At least, after this post, I'm going to boot up Opal and pray everything is how I left it three years ago... I mean, you'd think it'd all be fine. A saved game is a saved game. Anyways, it's time to figure out how to list those each have. In alphabetical order? In order of usefulness? I'll figure something nice out.

Remember all those "(to be updated)" markers I had? Guess what? I updated some of them! Also, I got the current body collections lists up there too! Hurrah! In addition to those toons I'd written about then, I'll talk a little about the newer ones I've made. I'll stick to the same formula because I think it's nice.

To begin:

Orc / Level 1 / Necromancer / Gurzgo gro-Rushub
Build status: Non-applicable

Major Quest Progression:

Main timeline - Dragon Rising
Civil War - not started
Thieves Guild - Speaking with Silence
College of Winterhold - Hitting the Books
Destroy the Dark Brotherhood - Completed
Companions - not started (and probably never will)

Various/Artifacts: (to be updated)

Cannots:

Enter Frostmere Crypt (plan to get Eisa)

Follower: Dismissed Cosnach
Thrall: Afflicted (for awhile, I think)

Early notes: Gurzgo is Altimer's successor as a level playthrough that properly maintains a body collection. The Atronach Stone. He lives in Mistwatch, and has been doing pretty well so far. I've been hoping to find an elven bow and plate helmet on him so very much!

Later notes: (to be updated)

Body Collection:

-- Ground level --

East Empire Warden (?Imperial)
Keeper Carcette
Gadnor
Linwe

Madanach (Rags version)
Dremora Churl (x3) (2 from Azura's Star, 1 from Shalidor's Maze)
Bashnag
Ritual Master
[Potema] Necromancer (x4) (3 Breton, 1 Dunmer)

Gambler (Redguard)
Borvir
Christer
Barkeep
Knjakr
Pavo Attius
Arington
Lowlife (?Black Imperial)
Telrav

Arondil
Orthorn
The Caller
Vigilant Tyranus
Lu'ah Al-Skaven
Anise
Hamelyn
Nirya
Malyn Varen
Movarth Piquine

-- 2nd floor --

Kaie
J'darr
Yag gra-Gortwog
Corsair (?Black Imperial)

Umana
Salma

Arnbjorn
Festus Krex
Gabriella
Veezara
Nazir
Astrid

Hewnon Black-Skeever
Drahff
Falmer Servant (Khajiit)

Ghunzul
Hajvarr Iron-Hand
Bandit Chief (?Nord)
Bandit Leader (Fjola)
Rigel Strong-Arm
Atar
Sarthis Idren
Butcher

Velehk Sain (on the bed)

Gian the Fist
Vagrant (Bosmer)
Stalleo's Bodyguard (both)
Stalleo
Wyndelius Gatharian

Imperial Solder (x2)(from Helgen Keep)
Imperial Captain (from Helgen Keep)

Orini Dral
Afflicted (?)
Mistwatch Bandit (x2) (Khajiit, Bosmer)

Outside guarding the door are a Mercenary (?) and Spellsword (Dunmer)

Unfortunately, Gurzgo's original Mercenary and Spellsword were lost after being away for longer than ten days. This was something I, personally, couldn't live with. So, to replace the Mercenary: it was as simple as putting in a console code. I just traveled to Goldenglow first. The Spellsword, on the other hand, had to have its own plugin made. Apparently all Spellswords spawned after clearing Southfringe Sanctum will eventually turn into Necromancers if left alone.

Additional corpse notes: There isn't much to be said here that hasn't already been said, or is to be said in future updates.

Current mission: Gurzgo doesn't really have any missions. Besides getting Eisa; that's about it. Gurzgo is kind of dormant right now since I just began putting some time into Riddle's successor, Qa'ashi.

Bosmer / @ Level 61 / Merchant/Illusionist / Wezzar
Build status: Ongoing

Major Quest Progression:

Main timeline - The Fallen
Civil War - not started
Thieves Guild - Darkness Returns
College of Winterhold - Done
Dark Brotherhood - Completed (yea, it doesn't really make sense, but it was fun trying to indirectly kill everyone)
Companions - not started (and probably never will)

Various/Artifacts: (to be updated)
Cannots:

At least try not to kill anything directly. Despite this, Wezzar is guilty of killing a couple things... about 50 in total. Sorry, beautiful creatures of Skyrim. Wezzar is sorry!

Follower: None
Married to: Taarie

Early notes: I set out to make a toon that would try not to fight at all, and instead attempt to find ways around killing. By building Wezzar around doing nothing but buying and selling alchemy items and potions, it became apparent that there would be a surplus of coin. To remedy this, Wezzar takes advantage of the investment options Angeline's Aromatics provides and invests all his capital there. The Thief Stone.

Later notes: (to be updated)

-- (build found at link at top) --

Current mission:
Just keep investing and helping local business.

Orc / Level 1 / Necromancer / Lurg gro-Rushub
Build status: Non-applicable

Major Quest Progression:

Main timeline - Dragon Rising
Civil War - not started
Thieves Guild - Loud and Clear
College of Winterhold - not started
Dark Brotherhood - not started
Companions - not started

Various/Artifacts: (to be updated but probably nothing)

Cannots:

Lose any bodies ever!

Follower:
Sven
Thrall: None yet

Early notes:
I took losing Gurzgo's Spellsword and Mercenary hard, thus Lurg was born! Lurg's Gurzgo's younger brother, and obviously all younger brothers want to be just like their older brothers. The main difference is: Lurg will be setting out to obtain Forsworn versions of Madanach and his gang. The Atronach Stone.

Later notes: (to be updated)

Body Collection:

Nothing yet

Current mission:
Obtain Necromancer's Amulet.

Khajiit / @ Level 13 / to be set in stone / Qa'ashi
Build status: Ongoing

Major Quest Progression:

Main timeline - not started
Civil War - not started
Thieves Guild - not started
College of Winterhold - not started
Dark Brotherhood - not started
Companions - not started

Various/Artifacts: (to be updated)

Cannots:

Can't end up as a deadbeat like her father.

Follower:
None

Early notes: When I looked at how horribly I spec'ed Riddle the other day, I felt I had to make a successor to him. Qa'ashi is Riddle "The Legend" Breaker's daughter, and she's going to be super badass. And that means-- you guessed it: spec'ing only health again! I look most forward to playing around a bit more with some other ideas I had. Especially after noticing how vampirism + various diseases cause you to have negative magicka and stamina; it's like the best way to play with new roleplaying ideas, etc.

The toughest thing I've found so far - and I felt this way while building Riddle as well - has been deciding which difficulty to play on. All my other toons play on legendary; however, playing unarmed on legendary is like really friggin' boring. You do so little damage. I do play Riddle on expert difficulty and that worked well. Ultimately, I decided to do the same thing as I did with Riddle. Use legendary when training and then turn it down to expert when the gear was ready to be used. Yeah! The Atronach Stone.

Later notes: (to be updated)

-- (build found at link at top) --

Current mission:
Get 70 Restoration for Necromage perk. Once that's done, it's onto becoming a vampire and then spec'ing Fists of Steel. Qa'ashi already has a pair of plate gauntlets from the shrine East of Cradlecrush Rock. Huzzah!

In closing:

I did have a thought to make the various NPC names above colourful based on whether they were civilian, warrior, or what have you. That might pretty things up a bit. If you happen to be looking at this page and then notice the colours have all be played with, House went ahead with this thought.

Figured I should also mention the bodies don't have any real order besides placement in the homes they're stored in. And while the link to the builds images are above (like at the top of the very first post), maybe I could put it here too. So, here they are down here too!

I guess the last thing for today will be an acknowledgement of still having to finish the thrall section of this home space. The funny thing is: I had actually already done it on another platform, but all that info was wiped out after having to reformat my computer. Yea, I didn't remember to save the data files I'd saved... All well... I'll get it done again, I kind of, sort of promise!

small edit: I forgot to make sense of those question marks. Basically, I think the forumla is (origin)(race)(additional something or others). So if you see "(?)(?)(?)" that just means, I don't remember where the person came from, don't know their race (most are guesses anyway), and don't know what they have on them or something. ^^

I went and finally made the recipes section nice and happy. Before, I basically just threw down what I'd written in my notes. So, they obviously didn't account for skill-ups or anything. Now they're all tidied up, with relevant prices to gauge experience gained, and such and such, and so forth. The super awesome link to the pics are there, replacing what once was, more or less, for personal reference. That's nice, eh? House is kind of thinking about others making use of what he writes here!

I have wondered what the fate of this site will be, but in the off-chance it sticks around, I'll make a few updates as they come along! I took a lot of time away, yet I want to get back to necromancy, and do the things I love most in this great game!

Current projects:

① Update the NPC lists things I made in Living With the Dead. They begin at page 106, and there are 10 of them behind spoiler tags. As an example, at the time, I decided to use my own definition of 'is permanent' instead of the established terminology, so I'm sure that led many to wonder what I was talking about. (I have scoured that thread to find explanations and stuff, but… nope! That is all going to be dealt with. At least, that's part of the plan! Exciting additions include more notes for guys like Vighar and Movarth Piquine!
② Going to be trying to put together a tutorial for preserving the combat AI for Madanach and his Forsworn gang when they've donned their faction's armour. (Yes, it's possible; however, it is also possible to break them as well! Hint: It involves a 10-day absence! And yes, it'll probably take a long time for me to replicate because I never wrote down anything for them!)
③ Going to be trying to put together a tutorial for getting Ra'kheran and the other hunters out of Bloated Man's Grotto. (This is another really hard thing that's possible, and again, I never wrote anything down, so trial and error is the answer…)
④ Get around to updating the body lists for my necromancers, and fill in some things (most likely, though I haven't read it all recently).
⑤ Supply another anchor list with some kind of rank order to them, not because I want to outdo the other notable necromancers' contributions, of course! The aim is to be another reference that offers a unique experience. Hopefully, it'll be used alongside stuckinmypants'! (I don't recall any other thorough lists, and that's part of the problem!

For two and three, there should be videos coming out… eventually…

There may be more things on the way in my plans too. I just can't think of them right now. Keep in mind, I am playing the game, so hopefully these projects don't take until 2025. Please be patient!

I'll add my mod list here, I suppose… because I did change the name of the thread and its relating platform.*

1. Official high-res texture pack
2. Stickier Arrows
3. [DIY] Extra spellsword pack
4. [DIY] Happy daedric boot strapper (fixes the Atronach Forge)
5. SkyUI
6. [DIY] Summon absorb fix
7. The Dance of Death
8. CBBE
9. Mfg console
10. No boring sleep wait menu
11. Enhanced camera

*I am still playing without DLC, unofficial patches, and playing on the original Skyrim (I have legendary difficulty, so Legendary Edition(?))
