You want home upgrades. It's as simple as that. You can gain mannequins, bookcases, extra chests, laboratories, ect.
If you'd like these things fast then listen up! All you need to do is find the steward of a keep,ask them for an upgrade to your house (You need enough money to buy it in the first place) then as soon as they start their dialogue about how fancy your new blood-covered guillotine will look or whatever,you exit the dialogue and store all your gold in any nearby container.
Wait for the steward to finish speaking and then retrieve your gold,asking them for another upgrade.
