Highpoint Tower Entrance

I don't know if I have a glitch, or I am just unobservant. I am trying to get into Highpoint Tower (yes, the quest is active) but cannot find the way in. I have found threads that talk about a crevice and/or stairs, but see neither. Could someone point me in the right direction? If I am standing immediately below the tower, next to the heartstone deposit, which way do I go?
