HELP

How the hell do I get rid of Serana. I get she's cool and all but I like Marcurio much better, and she's SO ANNOYING. She sits there talking and getting in the way and won't shut up. It's really annoying. Help on this would be GREATLY appreciated.

Until you bring Serana back to castle Volkihar to continue to the Dawnguard storyline, she's your perma-companion. The same is true at intervals during the Dawnguard story. If you haven't completed some part of it while she's your companion, it's probably the quest keeping her there.

As @Cordelia said, she's stuck with you during parts of the dawnguard.
I play a lone wolf 100% of the time and this aspect of dawnguard bugs me to no end. Whenever I do the dawnguard quest now I get the most satisfaction, not from killing her father, but from finally telling her to go 'piss off' once the questline is complete!
