Help with entering Inner Sanctum for Touching the Sy

Okay so I just got my Initiate's Ewer fully filled, and when I try to pour the water into the basin to unlock the door to the Inner Sanctum, NOTHING HAPPENS. I am mashing the A button so hard and the water will not pour into the basin. I've tried reloading, leaving and re-entering the Vale, and restarting my Xbox. It says in my quest log that I have the ewer filled, and that all I have to do is gain entrance into the Inner Sanctum. HELP PLEASE. EDIT: I just deleted and re-downloaded Dawnguard and nothing changed.

Okay, I never got it to work but I loaded a saved file 4 hours back and it worked. Thanks to the people who looked though

I experienced a delay after filling the basin. After waiting a bit, the locking mechanism took care of itself and I was simply able to open the door.
