ManoloXamps the Faggot

The Titan of Ether
Well, I've been trying to create an all-rounder class, that isn't expert in anything but can handle himself around with melee, ranged, magic and stealth. This is easier said than done. Any suggestions?

I do it based on the situation. For example:

You walk into a dungeon. You first come across some Falmer. Crouch into sneak, whip out the bow and take them out in the shadows. Then you go into the next room and there's a Dwarven Sphere dude, decide that the sword is the way to go. Unlock a couple doors, loot a couple chests and proceed. Next room has some bad magic types who somehow managed to get past the previous two trials without getting killed, and you decide that a mage approach is best, perhaps a shock spell to drain their magicka. Then you go into the final room, save Princess Peach, and get a big 'ol kiss.

Okay, I was being a smartass in the last bit, but you get what I'm saying. Adapt your style to the situation, and you'll be well on your way to a jack of all trades, master of none. :D

LOL, I didn't even think about that, it'll probably be MUCH better than trying all at once. I mean, I was just going random attacking like crazy.
Agh, I better stop trying to explain, I'm tired and not thinking properly XD

This is an Oblivion discussion. Why else would I post it here?

Well, in Elder Scroll 4: Oblivion, there are no falmers or dwarven enemies, and shock magic doesnt drain enemy magicka. And there are no perks to choose, except those you get from rank(novice, apprentice etc.) and character class doesnt matter in oblivion since you are able to perfect your character if you know how.

I said nothing about falmer and dwarves;
I said nothing about shock magic draining magicka;
I said nothing about perks;
I need help in making my character perfect like you said.

Well the other guy talked about skyrim :D For a good build, i'd say breton since magic resistance
Major skills doesnt matter that much, but level endurance to max as early as possible and all attributes to max using unlimited leveling glitch, i use glitches and exploits pretty much since i have played oblivion over 2500+ hours and have had dozens of characters. I like to play battlemage, blade as backup or for fun, and i use ring glitch to achieve big magicka pool, at the moment i have 35 000 magicka, so i can make all kinds of fun spells

equipment doesnt matter either so much, but if you are breton take mundane ring, it grants 50% magic resistance and 35% reflect magic, so you cant be killed with any kind of magic, and have chance to reflect some back.

so to sum up my messy story: Breton and max endurance, ring glitch is recommended to gain access to godlike spells, and somekind of melee weapon if run out magicka.

We will be avenged.

I would suggest to roll a withhunter character. Drop one main skill for blade. So basically you fight with destruction, bow and sword. Wear light armor. It will be a challenge to develop all skills in a balanced way.

Oblivion system does not reward a character who is jack of all trades. It rewards specialists. So I personally experienced. With Oscuro mod the leveling is better you might want to use that.

Good luck.
