PC Having trouble in Apocrypha (w/screenshot links)

Hi all,

Forum noob here, first post

I'm kinda stuck on what to do here in Apocrypha. I know I'm probably missing something here.

There's a tree(?) w/mushroom-like canopy that is highlighted with the silver arrow icon-thingy.

Screenshots are of the tree-like thing and the local map of the same.

I don't know what to do here - I've tried bend will, irresistable force, whirlwind, et al, but to no avail.

Can anyone tell me what I'm missing here?

/\ Ok, I figured it out and have made a ton of progress. I am now in a big chamber with what appears to be the final door to getting into Miraaks temple. I can't figure out how to open it. There was a (one-way?) scrye to the left of the door that was open/active. I hit the scrye, it closed, I thought maybe I heard a little noise in the background when I did that, but the door didn't open, and now the scrye seems permanently inactive. GRRrrrr!

I finished the above quest. What a royal PITA the navigation is
in this game.
