so the topic pretty much explains it... i did the mages guild quests, became the arch mage but can't find where to buy the master level destruction spells... any help would be much appreciated
Unfortunately, if Faralda really is dead then you can't get any other master spells from people. The only way you could get them now is if you find them which I don't know if that's possible or not.
