You've been able to play games from the Disgaea series on nearly every platform since the whole thing started on the Playstation 2, with the exception of the PC. Who knows why, but NIS has waited until now to take the first step in catching up with the new Disgaea PC, coming to Steam.
Disgaea PC will be a remastered version of the original game. We can't confirm any graphics upgrades, since there are no screenshots yet, but we do know achievements and badges have been added, and that the user interface will be upgraded. Disgaea PC will arrive on Steam in Fenruary of 2016.
Perhaps if Disgaea PC does well, some of its follow-ups will be ported too. Given that there are now five mainline titles in the Disgaea series, not to mention many spinoffs and Disgaea D-2, the sequel to the original....this is going to take a while.
