The Dragonborn and Serana must go to the Ancestor Glade to read the blood scroll and find out where to find the Auriel’s bow. This is probably, one of the most difficult fights out there because after reading the scroll, 6 vamps attack together and not having a plan to properly face them, may get you killed.
There are several scenarios and tactics to apply and reject the attack with minimum damage but also, there is one that I found out, allow you to kill all of the vamps very easy without taking any damage.
There is a tunnel that you need to cross before you get to big cavern where you need to attract the 7 moths. When you start attracting the 7 moths, there is a door that automatically close in that tunnel. This door, remains close till you finish reading the blood scroll and talking to Serana. Once you finish talking to Serana, the door opens automatically and the vamps enter the cavern and start attacking you.
This is what you need to know to avoid a big fight and kill those vamps easily. After you finish reading the blood scroll, DO NOT TALK to Serana at all; skip the conversation and go up stairs and you will see that the door is still closed and the vamps are in the tunnel, trying to open the door so they can attack you. Get close to the door and either :
- Use your flame based spell on them to burn them
- Conjure a couple of flame atronachs inside the tunnel to kill them ( you may need two more )
- or use your bow to kill them one by one.
As soon as you finish them all, talk to Serana about the vision revealed when reading the blood scroll and the door will open automatically. Sine misione, not quarter given, not mercy shown !
