Dawnguard - Still can't make arrows?

I just got the Dawnguard DLC and I am still unable to make arrows? Do I have to start a certain quest or something? Any help is great thanks

Have you invested perks in your smithing tree? For example, if you don't have the Dwarven Smithing Perk you can't make Dwarven arrows.

To make arrows first you need the appropriate perk in the smithing skill tree e.g. Steel smithing for steel arrows, Dwarven smithing for dwarven arrows etc, then you need 1 ingot of the needed metal and 1 firewood.

Example:

Iron Arrows - 1 x Iron Ingot, 1 x Firewood
Steel Arrows - 1 x Steel Ingot, 1 x Firewood
Daedric Arrows - 1 x Ebony ingot, 1 x Firewood, 1 x Daedra Heart

Each will give 20 arrows of that type, repeat as necessary.

I think it's the same for crossbow bolts but they can only be done at Fort dawnguard, whereas the arrows can be done at any smith in Skyrim.
