PS3 creating atronachs

How do i activate the pedisatal to create atronachs in Winterhold? i have the recepies and ingrediants. Do i need a certain item? or quest?

are you talking about the forge thing (forget it's name) underground?
I believe you have to have the right ingredients/items to use it.

I'm going to assume you mean the Atronach Forge in the Midden of the Mage College.

Ya thats it the forge. I have the ingrediants but when i put them in the box and pull the handle nothing happens. What do i need for the pedistal?

Are you sure you have the correct ingredients? It should work without the item that goes in there. What items do you have? And what are you trying to make?

I found out that if you get your conjuration skill to over level 90 the guy in the collage of winterhold sells the books for the atronachs and gives you a quest or the demilord atronach
