Dayblade;
Redguard Warcrafter
Alignment: Chaotic (Good, evil, or neutral optional.)
Factions: Companions, Dark Brotherhood, and Nightingales (In that order.) Foresworn (Former ally of Madanach.)
Primaries: 1H, Archery,
Secondary: Light Armor
Tertiary: Smithy (Splashed up to Steel) Sneak.
Shouts/Powers: FRD, Wuld/Nah, Elemental Fury, Aura Whisper, Adrenaline Rush.
Standing Stone: The Atronach (Magic Defense, nothing more.)
Perks: Dual Fury/Savagery, H&S, Steel Smithy, Deadly Aim, Wind Walker, and all Gateways. (Overdraw, and Armsman maxed, 1 point in Stealth.)
Gear: A good Bow (I used Forsworn) Skyforge Steel Hatchet (Superior) Windshear (Superior) and 2 sets of
Armor: Nightingale Armor, Boots, Gloves and the Ancient Shrouded Cowl (Maskless.) Gauntlets of the Old Gods, Linwe's Hood, the Savior's Hide and Boots of Running Speed. (I wish! Good light boots, Scaled is fine.) Krosis is optional.
Designed for maximum damage potential with minimum investment (Meaning Crafting.) Single grind, all the gear is scripted, or free as loot. (There's a full set of Scaled in the Abandoned Shack, minus a helmet you can get off a Stormcloak, or replace with something better.)
The armor is just an Enchantment carrier, with Wind Walker to recover your stamina in between Adrenalin Rush's. You really find yourself in trouble (Alduin, or Elder Dragons,) hit that, chase it with EF, and dual power attack them to a nice wet puree'.
Playthrough: Start off with Hadvar for access to Alvor's Steel. Do The Companions up to Proving Honor for the Hatchet, Smith it up to Superior, and save at least 1 Ingot for the Scimitar. Then head for Windhelm/Riften/Windhelm, the Abandoned Shack, and Falkreath Sanctuary. You'll want to run the whole thing up to Hail Sithis, while you're taking care of Muiri, cool your heels in jail, then hop on the TG. (This can be somewhat in Parallel to the DBH.) Sneak is simply to get through the missions, this is not a thief, or backstabber, but an unholy blender of a melee fighter. At most, you'll want Deadly Aim to start tough fights with a big dent, and 1 shot Sabercats/Bears when you see them first. The bow is just to shoot down dragons, because you stay on the Main Quest only as far as Kynesgrove to unlock them, and get a Blades Sword (until you get Windshear.)
Attacks: Critical Charge to start the fight with Stagger. Double Attack for maximum single strike damage (The sword, and axe swing at the same speed, all else equal.) Left standing Power Attack breaks a charge, which is extremely telegraphed. The Blade's Sword has the best reach possible with this Reposte', so you'll even beat greatswords to the punch once you dial in the timing. Dual Power Attack is just to tear up anything that's that damned tough, like Trolls, Werewolves, and grounded Dragons. Windshear means you don't have to Block/bash to stunlock something, on any left hand, or double attacks. Hack&Slash(3) to add Bleeding damage, especially following a CC, with Dual/Fury/Savagery, these stack up to completely counter Regeneration, and enemies that use Healing. Switch to the bow for anything at long range, you can crouch for Deadly Aim to eliminate the most dangerous target, or start the fight with a good dent.
