Before everything, there was fate. It wrote the prophecies, legends and all stories before time, before the gods even existed. There was no void, there was no Padomay or Anu. There was just nothing but what was left of the old world, fate and what was to become the two gods.

You see, there is an old legend written on a tablet so ancient that nobody can decipher the material is it made from, it rivals that of The Elder Scrolls in age (perhaps even older) yet it holds more power. This power hasn't been used since the dawn of time, or the destruction of the old world. Now once again the world is being threatened, the tablet is in possession of the wrong hands and it’s only a matter of time before everything is lost. So the gods, themselves have tasked you with retrieving this tablet, so once again they can try to shield it from the world. A white dove, graced you with its presence and foretold you to find your journey in Skyrim, Solitude. The Winking Skeever is where you will start, but where you will end is unknown.
Just remember, the gods were once themselves the holders of this tablet and you know what was their decision was, what will you decide?

Welcome to my RP, a tale of doom, treachery, hopelessness, passion, decisiveness and glory. A tale of your road to godlyhood, heroism or perhaps a road to an infamous villain. Where you decide the ultimate fate of Nirn, and even, maybe, the new world.

The Dragonborn is dead, the timeline is E5 10. This takes place 200 years after Skyrim, and while the DB is dead, he has left legacies that do not have his shouting abilities. Think back to the Septim bloodline after Tiber Septim.

All standard RP rules apply, this includes but is not limited to:

1 Godmodding. No overpowered Characters of any kind. Sure you were called upon by the gods of different pathogens, but you're not at their level, or that of the Dragonborn.

2 Being active, and not letting this RP die. If you do need to go, then tell me and we'll put your character on hold in a nice cozy place until you return.

3 Spelling, I will accept small errors but please nothing too major. Be sure to double check your posts.

4 Mature themes will be present, so if you cannot handle them do not join.

5 You can have as many characters as you need. Don’t go overboard however. You can create Various Non-recurring and recurring Npc's as you go along.

Skin color: A dark shade of ash, darker than most Dunmer's
Eyes: The hunger of vampirism plague her eyes, her right blinded from a painful slash, the other the deep crimson of her race
Hair: Ebon black, and long. Usually pulled back from her face, in a braid
Scars/Tattoos/Piercings: Many scars. Three across the right side of her face; nasty gift from a troll, across her lower face; sabre cat, across her throat; a failed attempt to end her life. Many others, with lightning-like ones on her forearms; courtesy of the Thalmor. Her ears dangle with piercings, and she has the hand of the Brotherhood tattooed above her heart.

    CASUAL

Weapons: A rather nasty blade, 'Shadow's Bite', and her magic, destruction and illusion being what she is a master at.
    4bdf6d1b6ad815ce6ca5c39c3af9b913.jpg

Tactics: Straight up prefers to see her enemies burn. They were stupid enough to start a fight with her, so she will gladly end that stupidity. If her mana runs out, she will resort to her dagger, which although she is skilled in using, cannot best someone trained effectively with a larger weapon.

Weaknesses: Larger weapons, with a strong and talented wielded can bring her to her knees. Although Marael loves to use fire, when it is used against her, is deadly.

Positive Traits: Is a good listener, and will absorb information, not the type to easily forget things. A slow temper, doesn't lash out at people for a few words. It takes time to make her angry. Is a loyal ally, and will never turn her back on you, nor leave you for dead.
Negative Traits: Once angry, she can act irrationally, and takes time to cool her down. Is rather loose with her words, and she is honest, although painfully so. Not the type to speak up about her injuries, and will stubbornly continue to fight. Gets drunk on a weekly basis, usually passing out on some stranger.
Likes: Fire, Khajiit (for some weird, odd reason), getting drunk, alcohol, darkness, being alone.
Dislikes: Fire, Nords, those who be cruel to her for her appearance, idiots, the cold, thieves.

Family: Had some, a nice one too, with seven older siblings. They're all dead though, centuries ago.
Property: Some land in Tear, although she doubts she'll return to claim it.
Pets: A horse, Faeorn, Cyrodiilian, he's a fast steed

Background: Was born twenty or so years before the Oblivion Crisis. At fifteen was accused for twelve counts of necromancy, along with murder, and thrown into a prison cell with multiple injuries. Left for dead, until a man entered her cell. He wasn't an executioner, nor a guard, but an assassin of the Dark Brotherhood. Lucien LaChance infact. He nursed her back to health, and taught her the ways of an assassin. Ended up becoming a Dark Sister, and a well-known one at that. Events of the Oblivion Crisis interrupted her training, as she was put in prison again, and before Lucien could release her, got caught up with the man who became the Champion of Cyrodiil.
She was name alongside him in the tomes about the events, and was a hero. But then the vampire got her, and she was turned. The Dark Brotherhood accepted her for what she was, several already in their ranks, and another vampire in her Sanctuary helped her to control herself, and the urges. After cleansing her Sanctuary, murdering her Brothers and Sisters of Darkness, she lost a tiny shred of herself, and not even Lucien's caring arms could help that. When she found her Speaker and friend dead, she tried to kill herself. Locking herself in a cave, she tried starving herself, with no effect but a small part of her sanity leaving her. An adventurer found her after one hundred years, in 4E 107, and she snapped instantly. Drained dry, the man had her feel guilty, and she used his blade to slit her throat.
Something urged Marael back to living, something brought her back, and in 4E 172 she made an appearance back in the world. Joining the Brotherhood yet again, she was part of the group that assassinated the Emperor, and she hasn't left the Brotherhood since.
