can't move

My husband needs help... He married Lydia and then bought the lakeview property. Then he moved back to whiterun that way he could adopt. Now he wants to move Lydia and the kids to lakeview, but when he goes to ask her it does not give the option of moving somewhere else. He has everything built on lakeview manor two childrens beds, childrens chests, and everything else in the childrens rooms. What is going on? Can someone please help us...

That sounds like a glitch.

Assuming you have the following:

A) Married Lydia

B) Adopted the children.

C) Built the children's beds

All should be in order, has he actually married Lydia and done the ceremony or is he just trying to move a housecarl?

You don't mention what platform he's playing on, Xbox, PS3 or PC?

Like Daryl asked, is he sure he married Lydia? You can adopt without being married as long as you have a room for them (two is the max). Lydia is originally the Housecarl for the Dragonborn in Whiterun at Breezehome. So, unless he's sure they're married, she's moving nowhere except to accompany him on quest's when he tells her to go with him.
