Xbox 360 can't get the house in morthal

When i try to get the property from the jarl of morthal no dialogue option comes up for it even though i did a quest for her steward, do i need to do more quests? and if so how do i activate them because it doesn't let me do that either.

Try talking to the steward. They are the ones that sell you the houses. You should also talk to the jarl and see if there is a dialogue for doing anything for him/her. Most of the time you have to help some of the people in town before you're allowed to buy a house.
