Can't get assignment from Isran

So after defeating Harkon, I went back to Dawnguard to get some quests going. Well everyone said speak to Isran. So I go to speak to Isran for an assignment but there is nothing saying what can I do to help or anything. Is it a bug, glitch or am I just missing something? Please help me that would be great
