Can't Afford to Furnish Entryway?

Why does my steward keep telling me that i cannot afford to furnish my entryway? I have more than enough money. In fact, it's already furnished, yet this continues to appear as an option in my dialog with Iona, and she still says that I can't afford it.

I've had exactly the same thing. It doesn't really matter though, since you already furnished the entryway.
