So here is my initial thought on my thief build. Remember you get 1 perk point per level and since the average level will be 50 (cap is 75) it's based on 50 points.

Argoham Lincoln, thief

One handed - 8
armsman x5
dual flurry x2
dual savagery x1

Light Armor - 6
agile defender x5
unhindered x1

Lockpicking - 7
lockpick x5
treasure hunting x1
unbreakable x1

Pickpocketing - 8
light fingers x5
extra pockets x1
misdirection x1
perfect touch x1

Sneak - 10
stealth x5
assassins blade x1
deadly aim x1
light foot x1
shadow warrior x1

Archery - 11
overdraw x5
steady hand x2
crit shot x3
power shot x1
silence x1

Any levels over 50 would go to alchemy.

There’s a spoiler prefix for this, you don’t have to write it in your title. Simply choose it from the dropbox when creating a thread. I think you can still do this if you edit your post and go to “More Options ...”. Just sayin’.

Looking at that build, you seem to favor bows. And as far as i can tell, that is a solid spec. I don't really see anything that you could do better. Good job! =D

The Experimentalist
my khajiit assassin mage would probably be:
Illusion: (10)
Illusion Dual Casting
Illusion Level x5
Kindred Mage
Aspect of Terror
Rage
Quiet Casting

Destruction: (10)
Destruction Dual Casting
Destruction Level x5
Deep Freeze
Rune Master

Sneak: (9)
Stealth Level x5
Deadly Aim
Muffled Movement
Silent Roll
Silence

Alchemy: (7)
Alchemist Level x5
Poisoner
Concentrated Poison

Archery: (16)
Everything

the rest of the perk after will probably go to rest of sneak and light-armor

Very good choices Hex. What do you think of the Silent Roll btw? Do you think that will be a useful thing?

I favor bows, but I wanted to have a back up in case arrows are really rare and for close combat. Also I wanted a nice selection of perks. I didn't see it necessary to specialize too much. I would have liked some alchemy, but I'll leave that for my Khajiit assasin.

Tusck you seem to be ignoring magic for you r thief character although it can be extremy handy. I would also focus on alchemy and enchanting or at least get some enchanted weapons amd items. Potions such as detect life can be helpful and i really like having a dispel enchanted dagger to get rid of spell traps on chests.

Have you chosen a race yet? The obvious choice is probably argonians, but with the focus on archery you may want a bosmer.

Well I'm not sure about actual perks but for my first play through I'm going to be a Dunmer rogue. My main skills I'll focus on will be marksman, one handed, destruction, sneak, lockpicking, and maybe alchemy. I forget the exact list of skills but if its a skill I might go into speechcraft and enchanting.

I've decided to go in a slightly different direction with my thief.

Argonian, male

Sneak - 10
stealth x5
deadly aim x1
assassin's blade x1
muffled movements x1
lightfoot x1
shadow warrior x1

Pickpocket - 8
Lightfingers x5
extra pockets x1
misdirection x1
perfect touch x1

Lockpicking - 9
lockpick x5
golden touch x1
treasure hunter x1
locksmith x1
unbreakable x1

Speech -9
Haggling x5
Investor x1
Merchent x1
Fence x1
Master Trader x1

Archery - 9
Overdraw x5
Steady hand x2
Quickshot x1
Hunter's Discipline x1

One handed - 5
armsman x5

Any further perks would be placed in archery to fill in more utility or alchemy for poisons.

You've really spent soem time planning out your build. I'm probably going to end up making quick decisions in game and regret some of them later
