I just entered bleak falls temple. As I get to the first gate, the pillars will not turn so I cannot proceed. I am really frustrated. This is a new character because I my mage was unable to retrieve the jagged crown so I started a new game and now I am stuck again. Can someone please help.

Assuming you've tried to reload a save from before you went in... If you're on PC, you can use the "tcl" command to turn off collision for a moment, allowing you to step through the gate. Don't forget to turn it back on, with a second "tcl" command, before you continue.
