I was thinking of doing a run of Skyrim for my Youtube channel but i want it to be a little different. so i was thinking of doing a run of the game as a bandit like character. i have some rules already made, but i would love some more ideas from the community. my rules so far are:
1. i can not go in any of the major towns.
2. i cant buy any equipment.
3. i must save all jewels, jewerly, and gold.
4. you only have one life you die and game over.

if you have any more ideas for more rules let me know, also this series is going to be unmoded.

Restriction on weapon material (Iron or Steel, maybe Orcish), armour material (Hide/Leather, Iron/Steel), spell choices (Novice/Apprentice), maybe you can only be melee or magic, no cross over of the two. No ideas about use of crafting items.

I like the idea of no cross over of magic and melee, and you bring up a point of material restrictions. I was thinking light armor only and if you find something better u can keep it, also I was thinking no crafting maybe potions and poisons though. no enchanting too

There are a good amount of bandits who do use heavy armours in game. And you do see them interact with alchemy and smithing items. Maybe just basic potions, and any found pre-enchanted items?

DON'T EXPECT SPOILER WARNINGS FROM ME
"I mostly deal with petty thievery and drunken brawls, been too long since we had a good bandit raid."-Town's guard.

You said no visiting major hold cities but how about visiting them just in order to rob them? You become a "bandit raid". It sounds interesting to me and I thought you might want to consider this in case you didn't already. Although, guards are too much to handle early on so better lvl up first.

Just make sure to attack anyone foolish enough to walk along the roads and not pay the toll. and run from some guards. Never pay or wait to get out of jail.

Never buy a house (doing so normally requires you to perform some heroic deed any way) but use certain landmarks as your own personal hideouts. An abandoned house or shrine or burial ground located by a roadside or away from any of the towns. Use these places to drop any items you don't want weighing you down but might want to come back for later.

Don't use any of the services offered in towns. Only use forges and alchemy labs in bandit hideouts that you've cleared out.

Rob any hunters that you meet while traveling.

Never buy a horse. Steal one from the nearest stable when you need to make a long trek. It will wander back home once you dismount but you don't need loyalty.

Might as well do Boethia's quest if you're going to be an unpleasant character.

I'm all about illusion magic now. It's got everything a bandit would love most importantly calming other bandits so you can hang out with them and see what they have to say. Now if you could find a secure chest in a bandit camp to make it home.

You could try just picking a spot by a roadside and attacking whoever walks past... Could be Talsgar the wanderer, Imperial soldiers escorting a prisoner, Thalmor, Farmers, Nobles. If you get bored of waiting, you can kill time by hunting animals and exploring whatever's nearby. When you've had your fill of the place, move onto another location.
