Avanchnzel Reward?

Is anything in particular supposed to happen after you replace the lexicon in Avanchnzel? There was a brief message about knowledge obtained, but nothing seemed to have happened. Are any other actions necessary?

look at your active effects and you will see the benefits from the ancient knowledge you got as your reward, helps your armour and smithing.

Ancient Knowledge is glitched. It does not do what the description says it does. The 25% bonus applies to all armor worn, not just Dwarven armor. The 15% bonus is not a leveling bonus for Smithing, it's a bonus to your Smithing skill.
