J'rejii-Dar

Oz'trayhliahitt
J'rejii has written a guide for any of you who having question about a sneaky character build... If anything in this post does not answer your question please feel free to post and J'rejii will get back with a solution as soon as possible

Firstly remember that this guide is not for you if :
1you prefer to charge in to battle with your warhammer and break the skulls of everything in your path before they can hit you or..
2unlike J'rejii you have neither the patience or finesse required to pull off a sneaky character. You will have to do alot of sneaking this means, longer battles, longer moving & everything else is just longer, J'rejii thinks even his tail has slightly grown.

Step Onechoice of class is entirely up to you, J'rejii will not stop you and all of Skyrim can only try. If you want an orc that can sneak then by all means go ahead, though your enemies may smell you before they hear you.
On that note, if you are looking for the 'perfect' sneaking character, then your choice should be either Argonian, Wood Elf or Dark Elf. And if you want real prowess, choose Khajiit.
J'rejii could list all the reasons why but if you want numbers then check this link Skyrim:Races - UESPWiki or google it. Rest assured that these are the best races BUT remember, any build is only as good as you make.. unless you chose Khajiit... in which case its much better.
Step Twothis is J'rejii's favourite part ^^ perks!! Now same as above, the choice is yours, if you want a sneaky spellcaster, go ahead (but consider using quiet casting) or if you prefer to bash things with a warhammer, stop reading now.
SneakMainly you are going to be focused on Sneak skill ofcourse, this lets you (wait for it) SNEAK!
You are going to want 5 points in stealth, this just makes your sneaking better and to be honest you probably dont need all the 5 points, but then again why take the risk (plus J'rejii is a perfectionist, so putting 4/5 is simply impossible)
Now you are going to want to improve the right side of the tree, this will give all your weapons (less the bow) a x6 damage multiplier when you pull off a successful sneak attack, x3 with a bow (I think J'rejii is the only one who hate bows) and a breath-taking-ultima-weapon-comparing-pl*ps-shattering x15 for daggers (can you say, oh my f***ing buddha)
As for the left side of the tree, well you could say that's debatable because, well.. it is
Personally! J'rejii finds that after the muffled movement perk everything else is useless. For one J'rejii can see traps from the other side of the room, if J'rejii doesn't they are hardly going to kill him (even on master difficulty unless you stand in a fire trap and dont move... if you do that you can stop reading too)
Silent roll is probably the most useless perk J'rejii has ever seen... He would rather use the lockpicking tree than use silent roll.
LockpickingAnd as for the lockpicking tree.. ughh. If you are really bad at lockpicking.. sure use it, if you have ever played a video before in your life, skip it entirely. You can pick a master level lock in under 15 tries at level 20... unless you cant afford lockpicks you really don't have an excuse to put perks into this tree.
PickpocketThis is fun. With pickpocketing you can well.. pickpocket people.
Easy enough in theory, in practice you are going to have alot of people turning around and sword slapping you. J'rejii only puts 1 point into Light Fingers, why? because if you don't know how to save & reload then you should stop reading, that's why. another point into night thief, another into poisoned and the last point into extra pockets (or you know, another 200 points into stamina, your call)
Unless you really want that fancy weapon or that awesome armor (lol, there is no awesome armor on ANYONE) then you dont need the other perks in this tree.
J'rejii should also note that with the poisoned perk you can place a paralyze potion on someone, and while sneaking, repeatedly tap A until you go into pickpocket mode, take anything you want (even 10,000 gold) and get away clean.
AlchemyOn the topic of poisoning, yes you guessed it ALCHEMY. Put all your points into alchemy, just do it. EXCEPT, dont put points into Experimenter, if you badly need to know what your ingredients do then look up a guide, print it off, and use it as a reference (as J'rejii does) Skyrim Alchemy Guide -- The Potions, Poisons And Ingredients Of The Elder Scrolls 5 - G4tv.com has ingredients required for potions, this is ok.
SmithingTwo points, one in steel smithing and another in arcane blacksmith. This isnt necessary unless you want to improve those dark brotherhood and nightingale armors. If you want you can go all the way up to dragon and make your own armors but be prepared to sacrifice some precious perks from your other skills not to mention the enchantment tree which you'll want to be using so that more points there. Though as with everything in Skyrim, the choice is yours and yours alone.. oh wait thats star wars..
SpeechIf you are going to use this, (some don't, some do) you'll want 1 point in haggling, then the entire left branch (cause it's a tree, rofl) J'rejii would also advice hanging onto that thief guild hood which eventually gets upgraded, then finding an amulet with the price effect. That's if you care that much about money, if you dont then you shouldn't bother with speech, but remember invested merchants not only carry more gold, but a wider range of goods.
One-Handedself-explanatory. 5 points into armsman, 2 points into dual-wielding and your last point into dual savagery. Technically you shouldn't need to power attack, but if your cover is blown (unless your J'rejii, in which case your cover is never blown) then a +50% boost to power damage is usefull especially if you opt out for a couple of swords when the frying pan your sneaking around in gets turned on.
Archerygod J'rejii hates bows, unfortunately without one dragons are 12.7358 times more annoying, and honestly, they are annoying enough as it is. Fill up everything in this tree. J'rejii would prefer not to have Hunter's Discipline but without it he cannot use Ranger and therefore would hate using bows even more. For the record, J'rejii hates bows.
Light Armoreverything, max it out, have it out there, do your duty. This keeps you alive when it starts to get rough. You may think "Hey, oneself does not need light armor, for oneself's foes will never have a sword nor hammer raised before they are downed" well you may keep thinking that. The reality is if you do not put points into light armor, and it turns out you ARE spotted (most likely you chose not to be Khajiit) Your theories will quickly be ground to the dust alongside your flailing corpse in about 1 or 2 hits. (J'rejii plays master.. if you dont play master stop reading)
IllusionEVERYTHING, except for dual casting. "What, why would you create a class that uses Novice-Master Illusion when you can simply creat -100% equipment?" the answer to that question is this build is not based around enchanting. If you chose not to use speech and pick a few random points out of your other trees, uncluding this one, then J'rejii guesses you can just max you enchanting and smithing and make any gear you want.... fun
Step ThreeHow you allocate your stats. Do this anyway you want really, if you want to make a build similiar to J'rejii's then do as he says. Follow this pattern, Health40/Stamina20/Magicka10. For example, put two points into health, then one into stamina, another two into health, another one into stamina and then one point into magicka. Rinse.
Step FourYou may be sick of J'rejii repeating himself, but use any dam thing you want. Now if you want the optimum build, well then follow J'rejii's advice Ja.
First your weapons of choice.
Dual wielded shivs! That is a joke, J'rejii has a great sense of humor
Right Hand: Mehrunes Razor. Even with the 3/101 chance to kill, this dagger's damage is the same as a daedric dagger
Left Hand: Keening or Blade of Woe, Woe does more damage but Keening absorbs stamina also.
J'rejii suggests you have two backup weapons in case you are spotted, Chillrend should be one and Nightingale Blade the other.
Helmet: Ancient Shrouded Cowl. +35 Archery?? Cant argue with that (If you are Khajiit or Argonian you can also equipa second helmet, J'rejii advises Aetherial Crown with chosen stone)
Armor: Nightingale Armor (Make sure you wait until level 32 before you start 'Trinity Restored' quest)
Boots: Nightingale Boots (Again level 32 before starting quest)
Gloves: >:) Ancient Shrouded Gloves. Your 15x Dagger sneak attacks now become 30x
You will spend more time licking the enemies blood from your paws then you will killing them
And there you have it, any question or if you see a mistake or something you think could be improved upon, do not hesitate to ask J'rejii.

Benthos

Proud Mer
The next character I wanted to build was going to be Bosmer and Khajit, I tend to lean toward the slim and sneaky ones. I will keep in mind some of what you have suggested.

Followers that are good at sneak, light armor and archery are: Aela the Huntress, Cicero, and Dark Brotherhood Initiate.

Tips to make followers extra-sneaky:
-Have them wear light armor only, as heavy armor is noisier and makes them more likely to be detected.
-Give him/her an item that has the Muffle (wearer is muffled and moves silently) effect (usually a boot or a shoe; and usually light armor too).
-Have your follower wear apparel that increases sneak skill (Fortify Sneak).

We will be avenged.
Nice guide, but I would suggest making all the font sizes the same and Where it says 1 2 and all that add a color.

BATMAN!
You should make a shout section in which you obviously talk about shouts that are good for an assassin.

Aura Whisper before going in to clear out a fort can greatly help you with positioning and awareness.
Slow Time with the quiet casting perk can make you kill 3 times faster actually if you look at it that way.
Clear Skies for sniping outside.
Throw Voice to drag enemies whereever you desire.

When you get cought/outside the sneak.
Animal Aliegence/Kyne's peace GREATlY works outside. As an assassin you should avoid travelling since you may run into any sorts of animals. The Bosmer have this shout as a racial ability but with lowered range.

When you get cought those are good options: Drain Life(dg),Slow time,Fire/frost breath,Unrelenting force, disarm, dismay, ice form and Call of Valor.

Dragonrend helps vs dragons.
