I've seen a lot of class guides out there, but none that I've seen are accurate. I like the rpg feel when choosing what class/arch-class I want, but not all class guides follow that principle.

Battle Mage
Race - High/Dark Elf
Major Skills - One-Handed, Destruction
(Optional )Minor Skills - Enchanting
Equipment - Heavy/Light Armor, Mace/War Axe
Skills - Play around with it
Tactics/Bio - This character is all about attacking with magic whenever possible, but also using their mace/war axe frequently. The basic tactics are to use destruction spells and charge toward the enemy. Use a flame spell and continue to use it until you get melee-ing distance away from them then wave your melee weapon around and finish them off. By the time you are to the person, their health should at least be 3/4 down, preferably 1/2 to 1/4. If its not, then upgrade your spells.
Guild - Companions, College of Winterhold
Tips - Don't use a sword, that is reserved for the spellsword. There are different tactics with the two, so try not to get them confused!

Spellsword
Race - High/Dark Elf
Major Skills - One-Handed, Destruction
(Optional )Minor Skills - Enchanting
Equipment - Mage Armor/Other Light Armor, Sword
Skills - Play around with it
Tactics/Bio - This class differs from the Battle Mage because this class is mostly a magic weilding class. You wait until the enemy comes to you to fight with your sword, and will retreat whenever possible just to continue using spells instead of swords.
Guild - College of Winterhold
Tips - Use swords only, try not to use any maces or war axes

Heavy Archer
Race - Wood Elf
Major Skills - Archery, Heavy Armor
(Optional )Minor Skills - Enchanting, One Handed
Equipment - Best Bow, Heaviest armor
Skills - Play around with it
Tactics - This play-style is mainly build around a archer than can tank. Right away, you should get a bow and some heavy armor. Your goal is to deal as much damage as possible, not worrying about sneaking at all. When an enemy hits you, your heavy armor should make it so that you can stay and shoot, not have to run away like some archer classes.
Tips - You are a tank, spend points into health and stand our ground, unless, of course, you are nearly dead, but you shouldn't be nearly dead, because you're a tank

Alik'r Warrior
Race - Redguard
Major Skills - One Handed, Light Armor
(Optional )Minor Skills - Enchanting
Equipment - Scimitar, Light(preferably leather or cloth)
Skills - Play around with it
Tactics - This is a hit and run tactic class. Don't let that fool you, this can be a very strong class. The main point of this is to hit light, hit fast, and don't let the enemy hit you.
Tips - Scimitars can be found easily north-east of Dawnstar, on a boat. Just kill the enemies of the boat and they drop scimitars. 3rd person view helps.
