-Halo 5 Guardians (Longtime fan of the series, and Buck's coming back!)
-XCOM 2 (Considering how good the first one was)
-Middle Earth: SoM (I've recently got into the LOTR franchise)
    -Witcher 3 (Seems pretty big)

MAYBE... Evolve, ESO, DragonAge Inquisition, Ryse: Son of Rome

No Man's Sky looks wicked too.

I would just like to point out that there are 3 Assassin's Creed games with the main character being Ezio Auditore. AC2, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and Assassin's Creed: Revelations. That being said, I would say you do need to get into the Assassin's Creed series! At least up until 3. After that, it becomes World of Wannabe Pirates.

Anyway, I am also looking forward to XCOM 2. I forgot about it during my first post, but I loved Enemy Unknown so much that it isn't fair for me to not mention it. (Seriously, you just get SOOOO attached to soldiers. I still remember US Colonel Ben Graham, Support Infantry, who could somehow hit 70% of shots that were below a 50% chance and received all the newest equipment first)

In my opinion, AC4: Black Flag is a really good game, its open-world gameplay is great, as well as the naval combat. It is also a lot of fun to live the life of a pirate, what with all the plundering and sailing :D
Are you guys looking forward to AC: Syndicate? Or nah? ;)

I also think AC4 is a great game. It's completely different to the other ACs, but that doesn't make it bad. Also, it has the best main character so far. Instead of being some fanatic guy from the creed and fights for freedom, he's just a guy who wants some gold.

Well then I wish they'd make a Pirate's Creed or something. Because I play Assassin's Creed to, gasp, be an Assassin!

Although, to be fair, with their New-Game-Every-Year policy, I guess they're somewhat forced into making games that have nothing to do with the series except for random name-drops

Broadly speaking, an 'Assassin' in the case of AC is anyone who is a member of the Assassin Order (which Edward Kenway of AC4 is a part of). Also, an assassin is 'a person who murders an important person for political or religious reasons' - Am I right in saying that you get to 'assassinate' people in AC4? So technically Edward is a pirate, but also an assassin, meaning that the player does play as an assassin in AC4. :p

Anyway, I definitely agree with you on how the games nowadays seem a bit forced - personally I would like to see another game with Ezio (pls Ubisoft?). :D

    Crowfall, Camelot Unchained.

Speaking of single players, Pathologic 2 might be interesting.

Waiting to get XCOM. I remember playing the very first one on a rattly old computer in the late 90s. I haven't played any of the metal gear solid games since 2, but I might check out the new one. I was never a fan of the control system, reminded me too much of resident evil.

Bravely Second comes out soon... maybe today?

I really appreciated the first game even if it was pretty repetitive towards the later half. I'm a sucker for classical feeling RPGs. I'm hoping to get the same amount of enjoyment out of the sequel.

I can't wait for No Man's Sky! It's an open universe game and I really look forward to trying it out. I just hope it will not only be a single player, though, and will give us something to do, like a PvP system.

It seems that "You will never play this game with your friends" (silence the video and scroll down), but the sweet PR talk was suggesting something else.
