Gahhhhh I wanna be in this so badly after reading through the idea. I mean what's better than Skyrim? Skyrim in space!
Name: Helena Valorian
Age: 15
Gender/Sex: Female
Home world: Born on a space station, kind of nomadic
Race: Human, likely Imperial
Class: Medic
Weapons: Powerful illusion magics (she tries not to use this, as it reminds her of her master, but when in doubt... [this would include creating mirror images, mind control, other major mind damaging abilites]), great healing magics. Much more defensive fighter. Restoration I'd imagine to be enhanced with castable shields, some minor offensive abilites, and a blaster when all else fails. She's not a fighter, which I'd like to emphasize. If she was trained, she'd be ungodly powerful, but her youth and apprehension towards using her expansive illusion skill are major stopping points.
Armour: She wears a skin tight, leathery white garb that hides her skin from her neck down. Like a form fitting second skin, really. She usually wears a white cloak overtop, which she pulls off when her work gets overly complicated.
Appearance: Crazy wild appearance. She has implanted eye contacts that change color with her mood, her hair is silver-white, extremely long, and usually slicked back in a high ponytail. Even up in the ponytail, her hair falls back to her ankles. Her makeup is usually nude and white colors, making her lips match her skin and giving her a cold, severe appearance. Her eyes are very much the only color present on her face.
Personality: She's very work-centered. She is extremely intelligent, almost sarcastic and dry with people. Most people don't like her because she can be a bit of a humorless bitch. She almost seems... robotic. She's older-looking and acting than she is, and most people ignore her age.
Likes/Dislikes: She likes robotics, tech, the color white, order, organization, schedules, strict conditions, and consistency. She's very type A. She hates losing control of emotion, animals of most kinds, and isn't a fan of natural things. (Don't expect her to take a hike anytime soon).
Bio: Born on a starship under unknown conditions, Helena was raised as a medic from her earliest age. Imbued with special healing tech to enhance her natural magic abilities, Helena was a star student. She found great balance between using technology and her natural magic abilities, and the teachers took her abilities as a movement towards the future. However, her emotions tended to get in the way of her professionalism, and one teacher especially saw it as a deterrent in her abilities. That teacher, an Altmer named Orla T'Loak, used unapproved drugs to regulate Helena's emotional state. The damage was permanent with continuous dosage, preventing Helena from feeling any further. Basically a trained mind-mage, Helena, under Orla's influence, began committing unspeakable medical choices in the name of knowledge. Helena would forge technology and health in ways that allowed Orla to control other people (advanced illusion magic), giving Orla her own personal team of hunters (the new magics led to two new hunters, one assassin and one large brute). On Helena's 15th birthday, she stopped dosage of one of the drugs when part of the dosage fell into the sink. Removing the blockage on her emotion, Helena realized the pain she'd caused, overdosing in an attempted suicide. The drugs, instead of killing Helena, caused an uncontrolled hallucinogenic state (her mind magics going out of control), and caused her to have to surgically alter the part of her brain responsible for her being. She came out a changed person. Able to feel wholly still, the alterations to her brain caused her to lose the innocence of most 15 year olds. Her maturity allowed her clarity into the exploitations of her mistress, and she left the team in pursuit of someway to help society instead of harm it any further. (Here is likely where my intro would begin)
Note: I would also write Orla's two peons, who would round out my three characters. If you need ccs from them, I can write them up. The brute will be very minor, as he doesn't say much, and the assassin is like a dark, rival version of Helena. They were sent by Orla in order to return Helena, as she is the lynchpin in Orla's plans for mind control on a much greater scale. They would be Helena's subplot, mostly, and her drive to get as far away as possible. What better mission than one into unexplored territory?
(Think of her like Jean Gray from X-Men. She's incredibly powerful, but can't tap into it willingly. nor does she want to. Her Jean Gray persona is very strict, regulated, and supportive, her Phoenix mind mage persona is wild, deadly, and quite powerful.)
