    Uh, I didn't do it
Sure, let the Krogan handle the BIG ASS FLIPPING GUNS THAT HE HAS NO TRAINING IN.

I'm sure that's gonna go well.

I was actually going to make an NPC doctor, but if you want to swap characters go right ahead.

Very true. I may just have One do that then.

Yea... it would seem that perhaps a machine like a Geth would be very capable at managing guns? I mean, what with trajectories and such?

I'd think so. Legion was able to improve Normandy's weapon accuracy by .32 percent after all ;)

    Sexuality: Heterosexual

    Relationship Status: Single

    Health: Healthy

Afflictions: Clinical depression treated with medication.

    Affiliations: Lt. Commander, Alliance Navy

Property: None. The Alliance provides her basic needs and when she lives with her parents in the Wards. They live in Anderson's Apartment.

Alignment: Lawful Good: Alice will do whatever she can to help whoever she can and she's comfortable following laws and government systems.

    Religion: Christian-Methodist

    Dialogue Colour: Light Blue

    Appearance
    4110-60160b48974d6e06290e955340d2e01e.jpg

(She's not wearing armor obviously, but the rest is her.)
    Eyes: Ice blue
    Height: 5'0
    Weight: 110 lbs

Build: Small and skinny with small breasts but appropriate for her size. She's in good shape and healthy however and is fast and flexible. Her male friends call her "kidnap-able" and have the running joke of picking her up from behind and walking a few feet with her before putting her down. Funny as they might think it would be, no enlisted Marine or Serviceman has tried except for one drunken Marine. Alice punched him in the face, then he had to face an infuriated Admiral Shepard.

Hair: Dark brown like her mother's. Dyes it ebony black.

    PERSONALITY
Positive Traits: Intelligent, quick-witted, well-educated, kind, friendly, outgoing, very affectionate even to strangers, forgiving, talented with an omni-tool, a gifted biotic, a tactical and strategic genius.

Negative Traits: Small, physically weak, naive due to her age, sometimes gullible, worries a lot and much of it is needless. It usually takes an outside perspective, like her mom or dad, her teachers or her friends to tell her when she has a right to be concerned and when she's simply borrowing trouble and needs to relax. She's also deathly afraid of failure, had major confidence problems when she was younger and constantly feels the very long shadows her parents cast, despite their best efforts to avoid that.

Likes: Books, video games, reading, rules, order, taking apart guns to see how they work, using her tech and biotic talents to help people rather than kill.

Loves: Her parents, her friends, animals, children, microplush blankets, footy pajamas, vanilla ice cream.

Dislikes: Arrogance, anyone who makes trouble for her friends or anyone under her command, people who abuse power, tomatoes, pain

Aspirations: To live up to her family name and to make her parents proud.

    Clothes: (Casual)

Most days Alice is in her dress blues or her fatigues. Both are the standard Alliance variety. Many of her mother's older unfiroms have been resized for her and she wears a suit of her mother's old armor into combat, appropriately resized and painted the same blue as her dialogue colour. She always wears an N7 breather helmet with her armor just in case.

Alice loves clothes and will wear civilian clothes whenever she has a chance. She loves t shirts and short sleeved striped polo shirts and has an assembly of both in just about every colour you can imagine. She also loves leather jackets, jeans and knee high riding boots. Her favorite outfit is a black fitted leather jacket with snap button cuffs and closes with a zipper, a blue pair of skinny jeans and a pair of black knee-high riding boots over those jeans. The boots have a full zipper on the inside of the shaft, facing inward. She usually wears a white, gray, blue, green, or turquoise long underwear top under her shirt. She wears the bottoms under her jeans during cold months to keep her legs warm.

Her other favorite outfit consists of a short sleeved blue dress over white leggings and a tight fitting white long sleeve shirt of similar material. The dress' skirt goes halfway down her thighs, in between her hips and her knees. The skirt is loose enough for comfortable movement but tight enough to avoid having much slack. She wears knee high brown leather boots over her leggings and wears silver sapphire earrings, a silver sapphire ring and brown leather gloves. This is the outfit she most often goes to school in.

Alice has 6 pairs of footy pajamas and her favorite is a white pair with grinning black skulls.

Weapons: An M3 Preditor heavy pistol that she always carries with her, an omni-blade application on her omni-tool, her tech and biotic abilites. In combat she carries an M8 Avenger assault rifle. She's an average shot with her pistol but an excellent shot with rifles. She also has a Mantis X Sniper Rifle her dad gave her when she joined the service out of College at 21. It's an old style rifle from before the invention of thermal clips and is loaded with explosive rounds and is fitted with a double length scram rail. It can only fire one shot before having to cool for five seconds but not needing thermal clips is always usable. It's a large, heavy weapon that Alice rarely uses as she has to go prone and deploy an attached bipod to properly fire it. It's also extremely inefficient compared to modern thermal clip weapons. It's more a good luck charm than anything else but she finds comfort in having one of her dad's guns. It's a bit of him protecting her wherever she takes it.

    BIOGRAPHY

CHILDHOOD: Alice was born to unknown parents on Earth five years after the Reaper War. By this time Shepard and Garrus had settled into a lifelong commitment to each other and had gotten married. This granted them recognition as a joined couple by both Alliance and Turian law and received the legal benefits of both species. A month after Alice was born she was taken into a hospital in the ruins of D.C. Shepard and Garrus decided they were ready to have children and had already discussed adopting one. They adopted Alice when she was six weeks old and took her to Anderson's apartment on the Citadel, now their legal residence. Alice has never met her real parents and she doesn't care to. Shepard and Garrus are her mom and dad and they always will be. She is their only daughter and they love her more than anything in the galaxy.

Being the adopted child of Commander Shepard and Garrus Vakarian, Alice was a celebrity before she could talk. Everyone stopped to say hi to her when her mother walked her to school. Everyone in school wanted to be her friend. When she was sad or had really good news, everybody hugged her and she had access to everything she ever wanted. This isn't say she always got it: Both Shepard and Garrus wanted to avoid spoiling her rotten while still making her happy, a delicate dance every parent has to learn and which they muddled through like everyone else. Alice also wasn't as outgoing or in-your-face as her mother was. She was she and fearful due to all the attention she got all the time and she stayed close to her parents when they went out, always holding her mother's hand or burrowing in her father's arms. She got used to it as she got older however and she got the best care and education money could buy, along with some of the most powerful people in the galaxy as adoptive "aunts", "uncles" and close family friends. All of Shepard's team loved Alice and they all had a hand in raising her. She was even named an honorary crewman of the Normany when she was eight and got to ride aboard whenever her parents were on a mission that wasn't too dangerous and they took her all over the galaxy, from Tuchanka to Sur'Kesh, Illium to Beckenstein and everything in between. Alice memorized every part of that ship and she became enchanted with the idea of commanding a starship just like it. Her parents, and the friends and crew they served with, were her heroes.

TEENAGE YEARS: Alice's adolescent and teenage years were not as kind as her comparatively rosy childhood. She started attending Alenko Academy on Virmire when she was ten to develop her brain and biotics. She loved the studies but had to be away from her home and parents for months at a time and missed them terribly. Sometimes she would call her parents on vidcomm just so she could cry to them. In addition to the unspoken expectations of being a Shepard, Alice had all sorts of normal teenage girl problems. She was becoming a young woman but never became as tall or as ample as other girls. She exceeded almost everyone else academically but all that did was alienate her from the less achieving and more popular students. Her personal relationships with high-level staff such as Khalee Sanders and Jack earned her the monikor "teacher's pet." Her interests became more focused on "boy things" like video games, action figures, and trading cards, earning her labels liked "nerd" and "misfit" and overshadowing her more girlish habits such as making doll clothes and experimenting with her hair and makeup. When her biotics blossomed when she hit puberty at 13 she reached a level of skill that was almost Asari. She earned the monikor "freak" for her seemingly unfair talents. This resulted in a steady stream of insults, bullying and mean spirited pranks despite who her parents were because it was all done under the radar. There were lots of days where she would run into her dorm room in tears, lock the door and curl up on her bed. Seeing much of herself in the poor girl, Jack became her unofficial guardian at school and she would do everything from oversee Alice's physical and biotic training to sit on her bed and hold her as she cried for her mother after a hard day of bullying.

It wasn't all bad however. She had a core group of friends, mostly other misfit girls and misfit boys who liked those girls, whom she could trust and who liked her for who she was, not who her parents were. Her parents were always available to talk to her day or night and could come out to see her within an hour. Being picked up and dropped off by the SSV Normandy failed to impress no one and even the meanest girls didn't dare cause trouble or deny past actions when Alice's mother confronted them. One good scare from Commander Shepard forever stopped anyone who tried. Alice maintained a sterling reputation among her peers and the school faculty and maintained that into what would be considered her High School years. People grew up a little, she could control her biotics with pinpoint accuracy and she could show off to people who loved her. Liara, Miranda and Tali were all big sisters to her. Having all had overbearing parents that cast long shadows, they helped Alice cope with the reputations of her own parents and broadened her perspective. They were all there to remind her that she was her own person and that her parents would love her no matter what she did and the reminded her of this fact as often as she needed. Overall, things were more good than bad.

Adulthood: Alice graduated Alenko Academy at 21 and joined the Alliance Navy as a 2nd Lieutenant. She was able to showcase her flexible and brilliant tactical mind aboard the SSV Tokyo, an old but well respected cruiser with a colorful reputation. Alice currently serves on the Citadel as a Staff Lieutenant. Though her mother carries great weight in the Alliance and the Council Alice is determined to make her own name in the galaxy. She's done as much as she can on her own merit and skill and has served the Alliance well. She's about to get the opportunity of a lifetime.

    SERVICE NOTES

November 14th 2213. Operation Blood Staunch: Nine months into the Alliance Alice was serving as the SSV Tokyo's Comm Officer and intercepted several encoded transmissions using outdated Alliance codes from the First Contact War. Suspicious of the activity, Alice researched the Alliance archives for the decryption keys and spent hours recording and reviewing the chatter. She found that the codes were being used by the Blood Pack mercenary group to plan a massive pirate raid on the recently reclaimed Human colony of Horizion. She presented her findings to the Tokyo's captain and Alliance Command and the very next day the Tokyo spearheaded an assault on a Blood Pack Anchorage on an out of the way gas giant's moon. Alice coordinated over twenty ships in the assault and the Blood Pack fleet was destroyed. For her exceptional skill and initiative, Alice was given a commendation and promoted to 1st Lieutenant. She also gained enormous respect among the newer crewmen of the SSV Normandy, who led the assault, and made her mother very proud.

April 21st 2214. Operation Candle: As vengeance for their defeat in the Horizon system five months earlier the Blood Pack hatch a plan to destroy the SSV Tokyo and deliver Alice's head to Urdnot Wreav, the newest Blood Pack Overlord. Wreav had survived the Reaper War but was presumed dead by both Wrex and Shepard. He had to survive on his own for over a month before he was found on Tuchanka by a Blood Pack raiding squad. Wreav swore to destroy both Wrex and Shepard for abandoning him like Pyjaks and seized control of the Blood Pack after its vorcha leader was killed. He set up a false distress signal in the Ismar Frontier for the Tokyo to find and trapped it in an enormous mass effect field sustained by four heavy frigates. Blood Pack shuttles assaulted the Tokyo and their Krogan and Vorcha soldiers stormed its decks. The captain and most of the senior staff were killed in the attack but Alice took initiative and rallied the surviving crew. She single-handedly held off a squad of Vorcha soldiers with only her dress blues, her biotics and a predator pistol until marines could secure the bridge. Alice then coordinated the Tokyo's remaining fighters and its main guns in a counter attack that destroyed all four Blood Pack frigates and forced Wreav to retreat. She was promoted to Lt. Commander for her heroic actions and given command of the Tokyo until a replacement could be found.

May 14th 2214. Operation Blood Hunt: Three weeks after her victory in the Ismar Frontier Alice tracked Wreav to a small outpost on the far side of Feros, far from Zhu's Hope. The Tokyo was immediately dispatched to intercept and kill Wreav. The Tokyo bombarded the area with its main guns and Alice was at the head of four Kodiaks full of marines to finish off the Blood Pack forces. However, it was a trap. Wreav had retreated his forces to ancient underground Prothean bunkers safe from the Tokyo's bombardment and had prepared a massive Thanix cannon as a welcome present. All four of the shuttles were shot down by Blood Pack fighters and only Alice and a handful of Marines had survived. It was her first time wearing a combat hardsuit or using an assault rifle since basic training and she wasn't wearing a helmet. The dust-choked ruins of Feros immediately bothered her and made it difficult to navigate. She and the marines found the real Blood Pack base and the Thanix cannon and succeeded in destroying both of them with some of the Blood Pack's own explosives, but they were too slow. The massive gun had destroyed the Tokyo in orbit and Alice was the only one to survive the assault. With no ship to go back to an no one to help her for hundreds of miles, Alice was stranded.

For eight days Alice was alone. Little food or supplies survived the shuttle crashes or the Blood Pack base's destruction so she was forced to live on whatever she could find. She battled wild varren, the cold and a bad case of pneumonia from the dust. She convinced herself that she had failed her mission and the Alliance and was ready to die when on the ninth morning a shuttle from Zhu's Hope found her while performing recon. It was captained by Shiala, the Asari huntress that Shepard had saved from the Thorian years ago. Alice had never seen a green Asari before but she was so overjoyed to see anyone again she cried in Shiala's arms as the huntress brought Alice to the shuttle and to Zhu's Hope for treatment and rest. After learning who she was two days later, Shiala immediately contacted Alice's mother and within hours the Normandy arrived with Admiral Shepard on board. Mother and daughter hugged and cried in front of the entire colony. They were stunned at seeing their savior and hero openly weep but were proud to be able to help Shepard for a change. Alice recovered on the Normandy over the next few days but was guilt-ridden and morose. She expected a court martial and dishonorable discharge from the Alliance. Instead she was given the Anderson Medal of Honor and given and invited to try out for the N7 program. Her survival on Theros earned her fame and admiration all over the Alliance and was likened to Shepard's own survival trial on Akuze decades before. Alice earned her N7 tatoo on her left forearm and when given a choice of assignments she chose to join the Council's multi-species N8 program as a squad leader. As of today, 2216 she has performed admirably and is currently on shore leave on the Citadel.

Ok, as long as we have a medic. I like Kain. Big guy has potential.

So I am official Arms Master then? I mean, I did call dibs. I mean, part of me was hoping on first officer, but weapons work too.

    Also, my color.

Yes Phantom, you're Arms Master. One will be the Gunner. I need a first officer. Who wants the job?

Yes. Most of Shepard's crew members have become family friends and they've all watched Alice grow up. Wrex used to carry her on his shoulders and they would play Chase the Pyjak with Grunt.

If discussion about advanced communication technology can't bind a couple together for the rest of their lives, then I don't know what can!
