I will explain the whole situation.First of all i was having some wolf pelts and cast iron pot which were worthless of course. So, Outside my house(Breezehome) in Whiterun, I dropped them hoping they will disappear after a while.I remember at that time i was at level 12 and now I am at level 24.The items are STILL there.

Even then,,,I thought Dropping them outside city will help.I took them and dropped them at the roof of a fort and returned when i was at level 36(Which was a long time) and they were still there.

So, My question is, Do the dropped items always stays the same way the entire game?
If Not then please help.........

No soul gem large enough.
I'm not certain, but my understanding is that dropped items will stay where they are until otherwise removed.

Might I suggest a FusRoDah cleaning service? :D

The only thing I don't suggest is leaving valuables inside a cave. Caves/dungeons reset after about four to seven days in-game time. It is annoying though because I pick up alot of books. I go through them when I get to town and drop all the doubles before I enter a store. Now theres like 50 books outside of Bits and Pieces.

I can't be sure, but I'm pretty sure I have dropped some jewelry in the streets of Whiterun and after several days they are gone. I might try it again just to see if it happens or not.

As for the pot, pans, bowls and stuff I inadvertantly pick up... yeah that's it... I usually just stuff them into a barral some place. Although I did at one point toss a whole pile of stuff off the bridge to the Mages College. Mostly because I was bored. LOL. I haven't checked to see if they were down in the bottom of the gorge in the river.
On a similar note... just because I wanted to see what happened. I went for a swim off my boat in Riften and dove to the bottom. emptied my backpack of all the junk I had. All the wooden bowl, and basket floated to the surface and all the heavy bowls, plates tankards, cloths iron, etc sank.
Still there last I checked :D

My one concern with using any of the Jarl residences...

Once you get further into the stormcloack/empire storyline, I can see opportunities for certain Jarl residences to "reload", as it were. I would be wary putting anything there that I would miss if it disappeared.
