When I was receiving the shouts from the Graybeards I found out that when you are shown the word if you use a dragon soul before he teaches you the word you will receive the ND stage from him when you are taught it from the graybeards. This also works on Paarthurnax. I don't know if it works on the other console or whom else it works on guess i'll find out.
