To be fair, I'm sure the Stormcloaks kill innocent people. About the horse thief, I'd imagine the reason the Legion sends you both too the block, is because they were just going to kill Ulfric in the same manner as how they planned on killing you. Ralof says something when you first get to...
I recommend you check out Skyrim "Hardcore" Playstyle | Skyrim Forums It helped me get back into Skyrim. I was getting really bored with it, and felt like I was going to touch it anymore. Throw in some things to make it more challenging. If you're level 24 and have the best weapons and...
i usually play a Nord just because of the setting of the game. My race I usually played in Morrowind & Oblivion was Wood Elf though. I've made probably 15 diff. characters cause I restart a lot bit I've had this Nord for a while now think i'll finally complete a quest line.
Question about the overpowered/unrealistic perks.
Would using the Block perk that slows down time during an enemy power attack be considered unrealistic? I'm thinking it is, but wanna check with others, mainly BIGwooly but also interested in what others have too say.
I voted 3rd. But I like both aspects. Like mentioned above, it makes you feel more like you're the one running around when you play in 1st. It's also easier to pick stuff up because I play w/ no HUD. But I like 3rd because it's a nice change.
Edit: Also 1st gives such a richer perspective...
I'm having a lot of fun being a Sword and Shield character, playing with no HUD, Master difficulty, and only saving before I sleep in a bed. I've been using a lot of the guidelines set out in the Hardcore play-style that BIGwooly has made. Check it out Skyrim Hardcore Playstyle | Skyrim Forums
Great article, I also have a book from the Drizzt series if you can call it that. It's more 3 books put into one huge 1200 page book. But I think i'm gonna attempt to start reading it again after reading this
I was reading over this, and you have inspired me to do play like this, and develop a backstory to my character. I wanted to do it earlier, but never did. You're also a very good writer...
Reminds me of when i was playing fallout 3 and there was a dead guy in the water surrounding the nuke in Megaton.
One time I started a new character and we were just barely coming into Helgen, and i heard the horse whiny and the camera started going all over the place. We ended up upside down...
If you play on PC there is a mod that makes it so both you and all enemies do x5 damage. Might be pretty challenging on Master, and using only melee like S&S or 2h. just a thought
edit: also there is a mod that makes it so health doesn't regen, and food actually heals a good amount and gives...
I agree mostly with what you are saying about how multiplayer takes away from the game. I also agree that if Skyrim had a multiplayer, the game would be significantly changed. Probably for the worse.
Has anyone noticed COD campaigns after COD:WAW?. I think they got terrible after that game...
i don't know about roleplaying (am only trying it right now myself for the first time) but a challenging character build could be using Block & Magic. Blocking heavy blows from the enemy only to blast him with a fireball. Try it
I think one of the funnest classes i've played is the rouge i just made yesterday. it's really fun trying to sneak up behind someone for a backstab, and either killing them and fighting there friends with my dagger, or failing... and still having to fight with my dagger. ancestors wrath sure...
