I'm not crashing during or immediately after loading, but my Skyrim keeps crashing to the desktop during gameplay for no apparent reason. I haven't played Skyrim in like 2 months, but I started playing again because of Dragonborn DLC. I do have some mods, but I had the mods before the crashes too.
skyrim will get to a point where you feel like you've done everything. For PC you can get mods, which makes gameplay a hundred times more fun. You can always start a new character using skills you didnt really use on your main playthrough. Thieves guild is a very fun questline so definitely...
tried that command, still doesn't work. Brynjolf still just says "hmm" after using it. I have even tried reloading to a save before I finished any part of the quest, and I still get the hmm glitch.
I just finished brynjolf's quest to intimidate three people to pay back debts to the thieves guild and it said quest completed. He doesn't give me the next thieves guild quest and all he says is 'hmm".
I already completed the steal madesi's ring quest, which is where this glitch usually happens...
I restarted a Warrior and I'm level 12. I already bought the amulet of mara from maramal in the bee in the barb, but i can't get lydia to marry me, the wedding option never appears.
I've tried the console commands too, but that didnt do anything either?
I'm in patch v1.7.7.0.6 with Dawnguard.

i have the same problem, except im on the imperial side
I haven't found a solution and I probably won't bother doing the civil war quests until I make a new character. It's a pity though, the civil war questline is pretty interesting.
In order to obtain an enchantment you have to disenchant another object. Say you want the improve armor enchantment. There is an enchantment called Fortify Heavy armor that boosts your armor a certain percentage. The higher your enchanting the higher the percentage boost. You can get...
I'm only playing on Expert, but my hardest fight was against that lightning mage underneath the Honningbrew Meadery. I died like 5 times to him and his attacks would take me out so fast. He would also 1-hit my spellbreaker's ward.
you can get a ring from a dawnstar misc quest that has alchemy enchantment and i think the reward is 100%. I think you get the quest from the dawnstar potion person? if i remember correctly. I didnt do the quest when i was looking for alchemy enchantment because she wouldn't give me the...
whenever you do quests or go in dungeons collect all the light stuff that has decent value and search everything for gold. i had like 50k gold by the time i was level 30, including a full house in whiterun
