    Does your Legionaire acknowledge Talos?

If or when you join the Legion does your character still worship/accept Talos? I usually play Stormcloak so I wouldn't really know, but it seems plenty of players who side Imperial still tend to favour Talos anyways so I'm a little curious.

    Talos's birthplace

Something I just realized looking through UESP: The orthodox Tiber Septim story says he came from Atmora, late in the 2nd era. But lore says the last arrival from Atmora came early in the first era. Expeditions in the mid-3rd era say the land was uninhabitable, which would be about 2 hundred...

    Your favorie Daerdric pince?

    1. Meridia 2. Sheogorath 3. Azura Meridia seems to have some more respect than most for mortals, and I love Dawnbreaker.

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

Well the Medes have had 5 emperors, Septims 22. So penitus Oculatus are 4 for five, and only a few Septims were assassinated. Some died in civil wars, one fell off a horse, one died in Akavir. From the Great War: "During 4E 172, the Aldmeri advanced deeper into Cyrodiil. Bravil and Anvil both...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

Lol I'm learning new things just researching for arguments

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

The penitus Oculatus in skyrim were still intelligence officers, they should have been working on uncovering assassination attempts, as proven in "Breaching Security". They failed at that though pretty bad, and they wouldn't have destroyed the sanctuary if not for astrid's betrayal. We don't...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

I have to admit these discussions are pretty fun, I'm kind of surprised how the civil war has lead us to cover lore from all over the place.

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

UESP: "Under the Septims, Tamriel prospered and its provinces enjoyed peace and stability" there's your golden age. Penitus Oculatus? Lol not really. Where does it say they've been effective against thalmor. Pre-war imperial espionage was done by the blades. And the PO sure did a bang-up job in...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

And the War of the Blue Divide and the Five Year War happened but the Dominion is still around. And elven lifespans mean that the elves who fought each other and the Khajiit are probably the same ones in the dominion now. Redguards are a smart people. They will recognize a war centuries ago...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

What kind of problems did the Septims have? Over 400 years: Potema and the Akavir invasion? Potema was pretty bad, but the Akavir invasion didn't really affect to many people. The Tharn incident could just as easily happened to a Mede. Same with the Oblivion Crisis. Numerous sources refer to the...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

What I meant was the elder council that accepted Titus was likely made of the same members as the one from the last few Septims, unless Thules completely cleaned house. Can you say with a straight face that you'd rather live in the times of the Medes over the Septims? Stormcloaks don't...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

Ok first I'll admit it was wrong of me to say legionnaires aren't fighting for anything, that's not right. What I meant more was that the majority Stormcloaks aren't fighting for the sake of fighting and probably less so than legionnaires (also before taking windhelm tullius says they are...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

Yes, there are a few legionnaires who fight for their beliefs, but the Cyrodiilic ones and the mercenaries/professional soldiers (Tullius says so in Windhelm) who are there for the fun of it or pay, they are basically an invading force. And what are those legionnaires fighting for? They say they...

    Tiber Septim Spin-off

I know with ESO and eventually ES VI coming out this could be a ways off but this could be a cool kinda Redguard/battlespire or DLC thing. It's first person with Skyrim-like-graphics where you play as Tiber. Besides using the thu'um and fighting battles you decide how to manage your army and...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

Actually yeah, the stormcloaks are most of skyrim, most of the legion is imperials, from what the legates say it sounds like the legion only just started recruiting locals. In solitude, roggvir's family are obviously stormcloak sympathizers, and most stormcloak hate there comes from Bretons and...

What would the actual population of Skyrim be?

I'm pretty sure tamriel is close in size to Europe which in the medieval age had a population of like 20-25 million I think. So a place like Cyrodill would have the bulk of that and probably kinda evenly divided around the rest, but skyrim, being so north, and seeming kinda sparse, may mean a...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

The Great War is written by a legionnaire, so yeah. Delphine's quote doesn't mean anything, that can be interpreted to just surviving. I think from the Empire's perspective if hammerfell hadn't left and ulfric had never stepped up I think were gonna be totally happy just playing second. It was...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

And now that I think about the racism thing, if your a dunmer, who are you more mad at? The stormcloaks, because you face some discrimination after being taken in by them, doing relatively little about your situation but still being fed and having a roof over your head(plus, naturally dunmer and...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks, what one?

Everyone has to follow Imperial laws, it doesn't mean the actions of a single Jarl are what the Emperor has sanctioned. The Talos ban isn't something the Empire likes, in fact it is mentioned they barely enforced it. They still barely enforce it. The banning of Talos is something that kept the...
