    I read thats its a bug. Although patch 1.4 is suppose to fix this problem, for me, it did not. =[ im gonna delete the patch and retry. I doubt it will work but at this point, ANYTHING is worth a try!!

    Ive done all the side quests and special quests!! And i cant talk to mercer or brynolf they are both busy. Loud and clear is my last mission ive done for the guild. Its in my completed quests and it never gave me the dampened spirits quest.

    Married Ysolda... Can't find her!

    If shes not at her house she'll be walking around whiterun near the general goods area. Most of the time shes right in front of one of the little stands out in that circular area.

    ive completed the quest "loud and clear" for the thieves guild but it will not advance onto the next quest. Its was pretty far back so im not really sure what i can do about this. Please help??

    Definitely dont get rid of it!!! Its only a staff so it doesnt weigh much but in a pinch it could save ur life. Next time you get into a big battle just pull it out and summon him just to try it out. Youll see why this item is a lifesaver.

    defeating alduin

    You cant hurt him unless he is on the ground. And even then it takes alot to kill em! Try summoning something to distract him and then get in back of him with a warhammer. You can use dragonrend to keep him on the ground. Hope this helps.

    I completely agree. Ive played and loved everything about this game and since this has happened i have no motivation to play at all. Ive beat the game but restoring the thieves guild would open another world for me. Not to mention, as you stated stuntbabe, ive put alot of time into POINTLESS...

    I killed a member of the guild, they kicked me out, i gave them gold and they let me back in. I go to talk to brynjolf and he still says the same thing. This sucks....
