Post up here if you have achieved either the full 1000GS (Xbox) or Platinum trophy (Ps3). I have not included Steam achievements as console commands make it too easy to cheat your way to glory. Console users are kept honest and have to tough these out.
Took me 103 hours, 52 mins. With 1 character.
Well my lv. 51 Rogue has 900/1000 GS for skyrim and is so overpowered its laughable. Once I get all 1000 (just a few more hours of play), I might retire him and re-roll a new character in time for Dawnguard. I realized after some thought, I've never ever gone with a straight up and down...
I'm level 45. Main, dark brotherhood, college of winterhold and thieves guild quests all completed. Half done companions too and I'm yet to run into a single den of vampires!?
Only vampires I've seen we're in some cells in a quest I had to do for the college of winterhold. I let them out and...
Frost magic really kicks my ass, the slowing effect alone means your standing there helpless while swarms of Falmer gank your ass. As a sneaky killer my speed is my weapon. Take that from me and I'm screwed.
But when I use frost on opponents it's like it's nothing to then. They never slow...
So I used muffle to get me to lv. 70 illusion to get invisibility. But since using invisibility I haven't gone up a single level (used it heaps). Switched back to muffle and after only casting 3 times I went up to 71. So... How the hell do I use invisibility so I can still level up Illusion...
I think a lot of people overlook the Khajiit's racial that lets you see in the dark. No, it's not combat orientated (like the awesome Orc berserker racial). And no, it doesn't provide resistance such as Breton's huge magic resistance.
But saying that, of all the races I've played. I use night...
I was planning on doing the alchemy/enchanting loop to get capped TG armour and very OP'ed daedric daggers. But... im only Lv. 32 and with the sneak tree filled and backstab im finding i very rarely ever need to get into open combat. When i do, i just switch to dual ebony swords and go nuts and...
I love my Thieves Guild armour. It looks the best for my Character. But ive been using my Ancient Shrouded for most of the game simply for its combat buffs. Now i was thinking last night, My Ebony Dagger is now above 50 damage. Even WITHOUT my Ancient Shrouded gloves im still getting x15 damage...
I love the Death Knights (of any race) in WoW. How would you go about creating a Death Knight build in Skyrim? What would they use for combat? 1-hand+shield? 2-hand? How would they use magic? Would bound weapons be better for a Death Knight or just magicall enchantments on your ebony weapons? Or...
I can see all the benefits of the right hand side of the tree. But on the left, except for the one that makes heavy armour lighter, the others are pretty crap. Not sure if it's worth wasting two perk points on two crap perks just to get to a decent one. I could probably invest 3 perks into a lot...
Im starting a dual wield build tonight. Orc of course! because they rock. But reading around a bit online it seems this is a hard build to do (in the beginning of course) till you get some serious perks later on. Which leads me to guess maybe i should go one handed with a shield for a while till...
Ive got 2 characters at the moment. A lv. 26 Kajhiit Theif, and a lv. 16 Orc Tank. Both are fun in their own way but ive seen some youtube vids of people with Heavy Mages. Enchanted Daedric wearing dual casting Mages. They look very bad ass! So id like to give it a go. But im after some tips in...
