Your thoughts on the invincible children

Isn't there a console command to make an immortal NPC into a mortal?

    Xbox 360 Mage Armour?

The master alteration spell "Dragonskin" gives 80% physical damage reduction for 30 seconds (or more, with perks/other bonuses). That damage reduction is the maximum any combination of armor can acheive, no matter how much you have.

    My "perk-tree"

Yep. My potions of smithing give a whopping +113% bonus, with another +88% alchemy and smithing bonus from the crafting set I made.

    Where to Find Enchantment Elixirs?

Also, skill-enhancing potions from high enough alchemy can potentially grant a bigger bonus.

    My "perk-tree"

Here's my own build; http://skyrimcalculator.com/#3401 Running around with over 1000 armor just for the fun of it, and with a daedric sword doing 435 damage/hit to whack things hard. Some spells for flavor and ranged attacks.

Mage: Armor on or off?? & skills

Heavy Armor, Enchanting, Alchemy and Smithing are extremely important for every character. Yes, smithing and heavy armor are considered "warrior" skills if you believe in the robed/bookish mage archetype. But a badass battlemage or savage orc shaman is not going to be the bookish trouserless...

    Dragon Armor

Dragonscale is light armor - the best light armor in the game in fact. Dragonplate is heavy armor but it's the second best heavy armor in the game - Daedric armor is better. Also, once you reach the mage college you can buy daedra hearts and since you can buy from the girl smith in the first...

    Elixirs?

Thanks for the link and the replies. I just finished my extreme crafting testing just to see how much I could take armor with crafting improvements. Here are the results; Total crafting set alchemy bonus: +88% (+22% x4) Total crafting set smithing bonus: +88% (+22% x4) Enchanting potion max...

    Elixirs?

Aha! So, here are the steps; 1) Make a cheap set (necklace, ring, helmet, hands) giving +100% alchemy. 2) Make a boosted elixir of enchanting. 3) Drink elixir and make cheap set #2, giving +160% alchemy or so. 4) Make an improved boosted elixir of enchanting. 5) Drink elixir and make cheap...

    Xbox 360 Enchanting Question

It's the full bonus. And I got a big daedric armor that has 15% less cost for destruction spells, 10% Magicka Regen and 50% Magicka Regen. (which I plan to reforge as even better as soon as I beef up my alchemy)

    Elixirs?

Thanks. If there are no other bonuses to enchanting then I know I can make the uber dadra plate set without missing out on anything. Out of curiosity, if I got fire resist 65% and magic resist 26%, then will a firestorm normally doing 90 damage going to do only 8 damage? (91% reduction)...

    Elixirs?

OK, a few game hours ago, I found an elixir of blacksmithing in some ruin, a potion giving +30% max item improvement for half a minute, and seeing as I already had ebony ingots from a blacksmith and some daedra hearts I bought from the mage college, I decided to build myself some good pieces of...

Xbox 360 High level but still relevently weak

It's not a matter of level or health. It's a matter of armor. I got a lvl 52 character that can take on a giant with her bare hands without even healing but as soon as she changes into a werewolf (and thus can't wear armor) she dies in a few hits. So, find the best armor you can. You can...

Need help with my character build

Actually, maxed heavy armor offers a perk that allows it to weigh nothing and add no encumbrance at all. Hence it's overall better than light armor. My build is almost exactly the same as yours (though much higher level). I just didn't bother with block - restoration is good enough for defense...

    Level 81 using NPC Trainers?

Well, you can go find a main-quest-important NPC and pick a fight with them. They're unkillable so you can beat them up as much as you want and raise your skills without resorting to cheating. It's what I did by accident a few days ago at the very first quest of my first run of the game and...

    Which armor is better?

If you have the "+25% armor if wearing same type" perk then it is definitely better to wear the dwarven armor. Because that perk will increase not only the dwarven armor from armor 88 to armor 110 but also give similar increases to the dwarven boots and the dwarven gauntlets. But that's the easy...

    Maximum weapon/armor upgrade?

OK, suppose someone has armor of +x% to weapon/armor improvement, gauntlets of +x% to weapon/armor improvement, ring of of +x% to weapon/armor improvement, amulet of +x% to weapon/armor improvement and drinks a potion of blacksmithing (+30% to weapon/armor improvement). Suppose the same gal has...

    Level 81 using NPC Trainers?

Well, if you're going to use the console, you could just set your skills to 0 then retrain them. Or just plain set your level to a certain number.
  19. B

    Which armor is better?

Depends on several factors; 1) What other armor you're wearing. There are perks that give bonuses if you wear the same armor class (light or heavy) and the same armor type. So if the rest of your armor is dwarven and you got the perks, wearing dwarven armor gives a bonus of something like +50%...

    Weapon Damage?

From my experience, a weapon you have equipped will always show its total damage. Weapons you don't have equipped will also show their total damage but sometimes there'll be a glitch and they might show their base damage - checking them twice will help.
