    There are tons of miscellaneous quests leading to great gear for all play styles, the best part is randomly stumbling upon such things (in my opinion), and that alone keeps me playing.

    What courier exactly are you waiting to arrive? Usually a few days rest or away from the camp will make them non-hostile, otherwise I'd load a previous save.
