But the word immortal pretty much means to live forever meaning they can't die. Vampires can die so they are mortal right?

If a immortals suppose to live forever why is a vampire considered immortal? And can't the daedric princes lose power and die or am I thinking of something else?
Hey my wife died by a trap when I was around lol 32 ( she was the dark elf from the mages guild) and now I'm lvl 47 and I still can't get remarried. Anyone know how to fix this? I don't really want to start over on this guy.
