    Your "oh crap" moments

Iron mace. Ouch, you might as well thrown marshmellows at it. They die reasonably quick with a decent fire spell. Flames works but is too low level to kill them fast so you'll spend most of your time running away with the flames spell.

    Horse.. Wasteee Of gold

Oh, okay, I did not realise that. The stable owner will regret you telling me that. I think it is a shame that you cannot get a horse for your follower though.

    Invisibly visible?

That is what I am talking about. If someone was walking around my shop I would follow them. If I could hear someone but couldn't see someone then I would be looking around surprised saying something like, "What the hell. Hello! Is anyone there?" If your footsteps were silenced then they wouldn't...

    Imperials or Stormcloaks?

Personally I am tempted to side with the Imperials after hearing more about the reasons that Talos worship was banned. Talos was a man, not a god. A great man maybe but a man. Besides, I've always liked the Roman uniforms.

    Stealth/Assassin Players (minor spoilers)

Firstly I'd suggest boots enchanted with a muffle spell so that your footsteps are silent. If you use armour then I'd suggest the sneak perk, "Muffled Movement" which reduces armour noise by 30%. As an assasin I'd say that all of the sneak perks are essential. I have just gotten Deadly Aim which...

    Invisibly visible?

That I don't know. I am playing a thief. "Don't underestimate my sneakiness". If I need invisibility then I create a potion with some Lunar Moth Wing mixed with Nirnroot.

    Your "oh crap" moments

I spent a whole weekend adventuring around Whiterun and all the towns and places around the throat of the world. Eventually I wanted to seek out a new area to explore so I left from Whiterun and thought I could head through the mountain pass north of it to Morthal. Little did I know there is a...

    Are you a pack rat?

It is a shame you cannot get a carte to go with your horse. Although I like adventuring, sometimes I like playing themundane as well. I would like to be able to load a cart full of ore, smelt it into metal, make a load of armour and then cart it off to somewhere that I can sell it.

PC Do you prefer a controller?

Especially when doing Archery!! Aiming is so much more sensitive with a mouse and keyboard.

    Invisibly visible?

If you enchant a pair of boots with the muffle spell and then use an invisibility spell then you will not be followed. Personally I think it is a shame that people don't react a bit more surprised at hearing someone invisible walking around them. But hey Bethesda has improved so many things in...

    Skyrim Werewolfs Forever

You could but you would need to kill and eat something as a werewolf every 30 seconds. Good luck.

    Horse.. Wasteee Of gold

Problem with stealing a horse is that you get a small bounty for stealing it but every time you get off the horse, you get a fresh bounty added every time you get back onto it. You use a stolen horse for a while and your bounty will start to go up quite quick.

    Are you a pack rat?

Once you have fully furnished your house you get lots of storage space for separating out all the stuff you collected. Sacks, chests, a dresser upstairs for clothing and armour. You get an alchemy table and a storage chest for ingredients. I especially like that they upgraded bookshelves since...

Your thoughts on the invincible children

I for one am glad of the invincible children in the game. Yes I understand the point raised by some people that it takes away from the realism of the game. My charachter has been in the world of Skyrim for about two months now and hasn't been to the toilet once. I'm not going to start...

    Amazon is an ASSHOLE!

Collectors edition game or game guide. It is irrelevant. You are still buying into false economy. "Idiot", isn't namecalling a bit childish for someone in university? Oh, and I take it you aren't doing an English degree. Sentences start with a capital letter.

    Are you a pack rat?

I am a total pack rat in this game. Problem is that I spent my first 5000 gold on a house in Whiterun because I needed to store it all somewhere. Then I discovered that the house comes unfurnished. I then had to spend another day trying to get the cash to furnish the house so that I could get...

    Mining

There is an iron mine just northwest of Whiterun. It looks like an old wooden fort with a forge and a leather rack inside it. It has a few bandits in it and a load of iron ore veins inside.

    Horse.. Wasteee Of gold

I have to admit I find the horses a bit of a waste of time in the game. If you have a follower then they cannot keep up with you on a horse. your horse has saddlebags that you can see but cannot store anything in and you cannot fight from horseback. What is the point of riding an animal that can...

PC Do you prefer a controller?

I am playing the game on Xbox purely because while I love all Bethesda games that I have played, I have yet to find one that is glitch free. It isn't a complaint, I expect Bethesda games to have glitches because they always push the boundaries of what is possible in gaming. As I like playing...

    Amazon is an ASSHOLE!

Hey if you want to buy into the false economy of collector editions of things then you have to wait for it. Personally I never buy into collector's editions of anything. The fun for me is playing the game. £100 extra for a 12" model of a dragon and a DVD showing how they made the game and a book...
