I have the same problem with Briar's hearts. I completed the quest for repairing the white phial that seemed to trigger me being unable to drop the Briar hearts but I still can't drop them. Main quest please help
I encountered a bug where his health didn't drop and I just reloaded my saved game and everything seemed fine after that. So hopefully you can just reload a save and all will be rectified.- SawJack

Advanced Enchanting help needed
Or you can be like me and dual enchant the items so you have destruction and restoration magic for free, then you can just stand in the open and cast destruction spells with one hand while healing yourself with the other. It is a very silly thing to do.- SawJack

Yea, I've recently switched to all Daedric equipment. It looks cool and has the best base values for armor and weapons. With it all double enchanted it is pretty brutal, though there are plenty of things on Master difficulty that still don't want to die with a single shot.- SawJack

Just a quick update on this - all of my soul gems were fine. I didn't have any mismatched souls trapped, so I guess the glitch didn't impact the stuff I had thrown all around my house.- SawJack

If you use heavy armor, you will need both dragon scales and dragon bones. For light armor you don't need the dragon bones.
