63 things Games Radar did in Skyrim

Great list. Just fooling around in the game is so awesome.

    PC Requirements

I wonder if they will release a super low res option a bit later, like they did with Oblivion. I won't be able to run it on high, that's for sure.

    Pre-release mod talk

Someone will probably start to try to mod Morrowind and Oblivion in the new game, but it will probably die before it is born. Crazy spells are generally pretty fun mods.

    Mods on the consoles?

I'm fairly doubtful that mods will come to consoles (in large numbers at least). PC is the best way to play anyways though.

    New Skyrim Footage

They have done a much better job on the non-human character this time around. Still looks awesome.

    Skyrim Gameplay [AWESOME]

I love that idea for power/weapon equipping. Also, wooly mammoth!!!

Are Werewolves going to be in Skyrim?

I was sad that there wasn't a strong werewolf presence in Oblivion. I hope they add them somehow in this one. But truthfully, Twilight has ruined some of that type of stuff for me.

    Interesting indeed.

Get married, eh? People are always looking for ways to tie a man down.

    OMG Cat - Skyrim

It was probably seeing the awesome helmet.

    Not sure where to pre-order

I know that this slightly off the point, but I hate how Bethesda has jumped on the pre-order bonus bandwagon. I hope that they don't go the "ton of small (lame) DLCs" route and stick to good, full expansions.

    Awesome Skyrim Theme Songs

That metal one is sick. I hope someone mods the game music to be this when you battle. Great tie-in with the yell too.

    Dragons

I'm not sure how dragons are going to work out in an ES game. The combat in the previous ones has been less that stellar (even though I love the games). It will be interesting to see how fighting them goes. I'd like to ride one as well.

    Lucky me?

Eh, I'm willing to wait a few more days to get it on PC. Mods are huge in my book. Forget consoles.

What guild are you going to join first?

DB if it's there. Probably Thieves otherwise, even though I generally play a warrior type character.

So how immersive are you going to play Skyrim?

I'm bad at the whole roleplaying thing. I prefer to keep that to my D&D sessions. In games like this, I generally just want to become a legit warrior. So... not very immersed, I guess.

    Skyrim Roleplaying Ideas

Ah, now I see where the idea for your character types came from. I just have to wonder how much time you have on your hands that you can journal in real life about a game you are playing. Are there any positions open at whatever job you have?

What kind of tips can you give an Elder Scroll New guy?

I agree with n3w. Don't jump right into the main story. I always start out just by exploring around a bit and trying a few dungeons. Then maybe find a town and look for some easy quests. Eventually, you have to look into mods, if you get it for pc. If the modding is like anything is has been...

What are your favourite weapons going to be?

I loved the weapon in Oblivion that changed the animal into a random different one. Other than that, two-handed swords, preferably flaming.

    Skyrim Character Ideas

I usually like playing a Redguard first. I've never put this much thought into my character. Generally I just pick a type of weapon/magic. Do you really try to play as some specific character, hex? I just try to do what I want while I play.
