I have run across this too. I fixed it by scolding the kids, then playing a game with them, followed by telling them to do chores. After that, I didn't notice it happening again. Update: I indicated earlier in the thread that I was going to do some experimenting with adoption and the results. I am done now. I have found out as much as I think I can. Allowing for scripting, I have some behavior results or just possible coincidences as a result of what child, parenting...- Zahn

As to the OP... Personally, I like Skyrim as much as I do because it fits in with everything else that I "get into" for gaming. In addition, it is the first game to actually suck me into its world at almost a visceral level (sometimes). The scenery is breathtaking, and I have yet to grow bored...- Zahn

OMG A spider for a pet? Yeah, I would have killed it too! On one of my other characters who has kids, one brought home a skeever. I was able to wait till the child went to bed, then killed it. So far, no problems as a result oddly enough.- Zahn
