I agree. The reason I don't use them very much is for that reason, you need all three words to make the shout worth while. By the time you get the three words you are already at a high level and don't need them anymore.
My favorites are slow time and marked for death.
Yeah for me the beast races are the hardest for me to get into especially the Algonians, just not a lizard persona I guess. The Khajit would be okay if they looked more like Tigers than a kitty cat, not much of a cat person either lol.
From everything I read about Rangers is that they are secondary only to warriors in their melee prowess but greater use of the bow, however not as efficient as an archer. I would imagine they would be fairly adept at alchemy, 1hand weps, bow, light armor. I tried a 2hand build once but the...
Once Delphine gave me an ultimatum to kill Parthanax that turned me off of the blades right there and the fact she wouldn't help or speak to me until I did made me want to force choke her on the spot.
I never played either build on master difficulty, however I will say that two-hand weapons take a lot of stamina to really pull off correctly. You can block with 2hand just not as effectively but it does make you feel all macho and chyte when you power strike someone with it though.
So I jumped back in the game and started another mage. As I'm leveling it appears to me it's easier just to heal through the damage as oppose to use various stone skin armors to mitigate the damage. Not to mention how tedious it is to keep up and the mana cost involved. I know at higher...
Beating a dead horse. Yeah there have been many epic threads on the horse in Skyrim and it's uselessness. It would be cool if you could steal a horse and break it to make it your own.
Agreed. I think it is in part due to wearing cloth as their are very few perks/advantages for wearing cloth. I roll a pure mage just for the novelty and RP value now.
Actually started with a high elf as I wanted to be a mage. You can make a high elf look a bit more human by giving them a smaller, broader chin and a yellowish complexion, although I fell out of favor for the race as a whole now.
I know the mistake I use to make when using archery was that I was trying to take my time and perfect each shot. It's more efficient when you "trust the force" and just let them fly.
