The Quantum Potatoe, you are a clever fellow, please feel free to drop me a line and let me know how the mini persaude works, like you, I use charm spells or just bribe the hell out of them.

One thing I miss about Skyrim in Oblivion

Cool, I didn't know his hood was zero weight. I bet the other hood is in the testing hall. When I had my black robes I just saved one of the hood from the Dark Brotherhood members I had to kill for that purifying the sanctuary quest. I brought 'em all back with cm partners once I moved over to pc.

How can I get anything done!

I just do one thing at a time and take my time, there is a lot to explore. I only went into ruins or caves if I needed money. I tended to concentrate on the quests when I was first starting out. Especially the main quest. I just had to get it done and out of the way.

I hear where you are coming from The Quantum Potatoe, First TS game I had was Morrowind on the original xbox. A friend had Daggerfall on his computer and I used watch him play it, though I never wanted to play it myself. I got into Oblivion two years after it came out and I was totally stoked...

Am I supposed to do something?

Yeah I always usually went over to Vilveron right after getting out into the world. It had a ton of welkynd stones. Hmmm as for committing crimes, you even look at something that belongs to an NPC in Oblivion the wrong way or god forbid touch the item and their off screaming for the guards.

Am I supposed to do something?

No kidding, I could of sworn they went for 2000. I went and looked them up on UESP they only go for 50 so perhaps their price goes up as you either increase your mercantile or level up? Still, 200 Septims is not nothing to sneeze at when you are first starting out.

Does anyone else think Morrowind is better than Skyrim and Oblivion?

Morrowind has a richer environment/atmosphere and richer story over Oblivion and Skyrim. I never thought one game was better then the other, just different.

Am I supposed to do something?

You might want to stock up on Welkynd Stones. I used to get as many of those as I could to carry. When I played on the Xbox my brother showed me a glitch to triple my supply. Luckily Welkynd stones aren't that heavy and are worth 2000.

Am I supposed to do something?

Yeah, I hear ya, its rough starting out in Oblivion, it'll teach you patience if nothing else. I guess since I started out back in the stone age aka the late 1980s with these types of RP games stuff like that doesn't bother me as much. Daggerfell kicks your butt and then skins it and hands it...

    Should I get Morrowind?

BrainOfCthulhu, Yes get Morrowind with SG Overhaul! I did and I'm loving it even on my crappy E machine. tx2001, You have what is called "the mod that shall not be named", aka Morroblivion, I used that too for a time. All I can say is keep a stern eye on your load order, least you wake up one...

Am I supposed to do something?

I just carry one or two items of the most expensive stuff when I am first starting out. There is always more bandits to loot from and the loot chests re-spawn.

I guess that is why the game is called Oblivion and not Cyrodiil, all the really cool stuff happens in the realm of Oblivion.. I also hate the persuade mini game or as I call it mini headache, like most players I just bribe the hell out of any NPCs I'm trying to influence.

Am I supposed to do something?

I remember fingleam. As anyone has probably seen already from playing Oblivion, the merchants do not run out of money like their counterparts in Skyrim, so you can sell a lot of what you get. I did a lot of business with Rohssan at A Fighting Chance, if you have the game of the year edition with...

One thing I miss about Skyrim in Oblivion

They do, you'll have fun with the thieves guild line of quests, I always did. Yeah, one reason I'm not starting over in Oblivion is because of it's slowpoke leveling system. I guess that is another thing I miss about Skyrim, its fast leveling system.

One thing I miss about Skyrim in Oblivion

Actually the Skeleton Key is level 10. Believe me I know as I was counting down until I could get it. spent most of my money getting lock picks from Shady Sam.

One thing I miss about Skyrim in Oblivion

I also miss shield bashing. I miss crafting stuff the most, stuff like armor, weapons, dinner. As for lock picking, I'm glad I got the Skeleton Key.

    Who do you travel with?

I travel around Cyrodiil with a Skelton myself, named Scully, I made with the Construction Set and CM Partners. I seem to have a lot of minions and pets right now. Besides Scully. I have Tigersnap, a pet I made with the help of a battle cat mod I got off the nexus, Shadowmere, wouldn't be...

For players who are members of Dark Brotherhood

I like 'em all, there is something special about each and everyone of them so I will have to think on this. Thinking it over between the Night Mother and Nazir, one gives me my contracts and the other pays me for a job well done. The Night Mother is eternal, so she gets my endorsement.

    Death of your character.

My Bad Breton is still going strong. My characters usually seem to always fall to their deaths. I wonder if it has something to do with me trying to overcome my fear of heights. My Khajiit falling off the Throat Of The World just after I finished the main quest really pissed me off, so much...

    Goldenglow Estate a usable house?

I think if you have the DLCs the Mercenaries don't respawn as they used to in my Goldenglow but once I got Dawnguard I had no more respawning mercenaries, I missed having them around as they upped my skills and they always had money on their bodies. Still its nice having Goldenglow sans...
