    PC Missing perk? (Perk glitch)

    Yeah. I gave myself a bunch of random pieces.. Daedric, Glass, non-enchanted. I was able to upgrade them. But anything with an enchant.. says I don't have the perk. Starting to look like I have to start over, bleh. :P

    It's leather. And I've upgraded it in a previous save file, so I don't think that's the problem.

    Question about weapon damage stacking.

    Yes, it stacks. But note that Fortify One-Handed does not affect damage done with daggers, only: maces, war axes, and swords. Sneak very marginally affects dagger damage.

    ANNDDD IT HAPPEND, Shadowmere glitched; nowhere to be seen.

    Go check outside the original Dark Brotherhood hideout (with the black pool outside of it). If she isn't there, then you may be out of luck. :(

    How to prevent sudden crashes?

    You can't, really. It's a very, very common issue and no (official) patch has been made to fix it, yet. However.. someone has created an unofficial 1.2 patch which claims to fix the random no-error crashes and various other issues. I haven't installed that myself, nor do I know if it will work...

    Yeah, this is a known glitch with the Archmage's Robes. I assume when the official 1.2 (or later..) patch goes live sometime soon this (among other things.. many, many other things) will be fixed.

    PC Missing perk? (Perk glitch)

    So it seems I've ran into a perk glitch. While raising Smithing, I got past 60 and used a saved perk for the Arcane Blacksmith. So naturally, I run off to the work bench to upgrade my Dark Brotherhood armor, and.. it's still greyed out, and claims I'm missing the proper perk to upgrade it...
