Xbox 360 Hearthfire steward problem..
The only people you can hire to be your steward are Friends/Followers, and if there able to do it, they will always say yes, person I always use is Lydia, just take them to your house and if you have the option to ask them, they will always say yes.- Lokir

Wow Moments - Morrowind Edition

Hearthfire help!
You need to make sure your a Thane in the area you want to settle in. There are only 3 place you can buy plots in. I know for sure that Dawnstar and Falkreath are 2 of the areas, I can't remember the 3rd, just find the area you wish to buy a plot in, go talk to the jarl and if you haven't done...- Lokir

You have to be a Thane in the area you want to live. There are only 3 area's to buy plots. Like you said you found one in Dawnstar, meaning your a thane there. You just need to go to the Jarl in Falkreath and do his quests, then you need to help 3 of his people, after that you'll be able to...- Lokir
