    I wouldnt restart at all. Your fine where you are now. I mean, one lost perk for a tree your specializing in? That's really not a big deal. Later on if you need another spell to be more effective, it will be.

    In itself, not entirely. I mean its decent, but once you start to get quite a bit of gold it becomes useless. The other perks in speech though, can be very helpful.     Seems as if every skyrim patch just makes things buggier. Not sure what a fix for it would be. Is this only destruction spells? Have you tested with other types? And it it EVERY destruction spell? Just a few things to test for work-arounds.

    So...what exactly is the help you need? Suggestion whether its a good idea or not? My suggestionis restoration but thats probably biased because its what I do. You can run out of potions. When you heal fully, by the time you need to heal again, your magicka is usually up to par again.
