Not to go off topic, but I have stacked my gear set for Destruction so that it costs 0 at all times, that and with the duel cast perk and 2x perks in Shock and Ice categories, my destruction skills are still weak. At level 67 and enemies can two shot kill me with an ice spear or a few seconds...
I have never been able to get the Fury spell to work. I am level 60 and nearly all the enemies I have are much higher than the level cut off limit the Fury works on. I have never even seen the effects of using it.
Enchantments are useless when your character is weak and the enemies are stronger, but later in the game it gets to be almost too easy and will ruin the fun of it if you are not careful.
I had a Paralyze for 4 seconds bow in the beginning which greatly saved my butt many times as I was level...
Ok, I was following the Fortify Restoration / Enchanting potion glitch.
Now I was not trying to make something that would give me a God like presence in the game, but just to boost my Alchemy gear items (highest I could make so far was only 20% even though I can make a smithing potion that...
I had just gotten the game and was into my first hour of playing. I bought it used and it came with no instruction book or info whatsoever. I just entered Riverwood and went in the Riverwood trader store. I was anxious to use this Ring that I found that increased my pickpocketing 10%. Ok, I...
I am up to $175,000 now. I have just started to sell everything I pick up. I haven't dipped into my inventory stash at the house yet, but I am just dumping my load in every town that I cross in the meantime.
Well.... now what? What am I going to do with all this money?
That general goods merchant in Whiterun that delivers his creepy "Doooooo cooooommmme backkkkkk" line after you barter with him. I stopped going in there for the sole reason of not having to hear him.
My follower Mureco (sp? Mage from Bee and Barb) seems to be slow as molasses when we are...
Do you have your guide online here? The hardest part is selling it. None of the vendors has enough to pay for any big enchantments I do that make the item over $2000.
I really don't know how much $$$ I have in useless crap right now. Like for instance, I have 9 of the staff of paralysis which is about $1400 each if I am not mistaken and remember right.
Plus when I was making potions the other day using that Fortify Restoration glitch I made some Damage...
Well I haven't sold anything to vendors yet. But I got a crap load of stuff back at the house. I mean, I would get 300K for all the weapons and armor I have. Maybe even more if I took the time to enchant them first.
It took forever, I am level 60 now. But I spent a lot of money in the beginning buying weapons from vendors and the house, etc...
I would have reached it sooner, but I have never sold anything that I picked up or looted and even when I am smithing I don't use the materials I have, instead I...
Ok, that is what I do. (I think)
I choose the ingredients and then hit "X" to craft and that is what comes up. I can make really high level smithing potions, but not potions to enhance enchanting beyond 30%. Which is what I want to do so I can enhance some new higher level alchemy gear.
I tried it both ways, once I drink the potion the alchemy gear I am wearing is boosted up to like 101% if I take it and put it back on, it is the same. If I start with it off and then drink the potion, put the alchemy gear on, it is still 101%.
Crazy thing is I can make smithing potions that...
