They are actually right. I do role play and, while my current character isn't against all crime, she doesn't like the idea of a thieves guild. She is more chaotic good, and the thieves guild is really self-serving.
From the perspective of a player:
1)I don't care if there are a lot of side...
I went with Hadvar. My first play through (and a couple of times since, but not every time) he actually jumped between me and the dragon. Then once you are free he does a lot more to keep you alive than the Stormcloaks.
I usually become a werewolf. So it isn't about the food chain. My character is vampire-phobic. Just something about a disease that turns you undead creeps her out.
I hate that you can't complete the stones of Barenziah quest without joining the Thieves Guild. Can't I just sell them the stupid stones? What else am I going to do with them?
I don't pick up skooma, not even to sell it. My character is against it. Moon sugar is fine. Skooma is not.
I don't rob beggars. They have enough problems. I usually don't rob poor farmers either. If I pick their vegetables I put gold in their pockets. I was happy when someone actually made a...
This is the first time I've heard of trying something like that. The concept is interesting. It would definitely make me more cautious. It's sound like something worth trying. I don't know if I could follow through with it, though. I usually get pretty attached to my characters.
I would be a smooth-talking, good-looking Imperial. I'd get other people to do my dirty work so I couldn't get caught. I would use deceit, subterfuge and mind games primarily, (so in game terms speechcraft, illusion magic, daedric summoning maybe some thieving sneakery too) and and if someone...
I make my characters on the thicker side, but not biggest they can go. I usually make a fighter and I figure if they are swinging a sword/axe/bow/rat flail they need to have some muscle. I hate seeing fantasy art with skinny twig girls carrying swords that would break them in half.
I usually come up with backstories for my characters. I really enjoy the role playing element of the game. I hadn't written any of them until my last (current) character. I got bored and decided to put it on paper. It actually added to the depth in which I could role play her. If you're feeling...
I do love crafting, but I don't craft everything. It depends on what character I'm playing. I think having crafting skill makes a character more well-rounded instead of just being a killing machine. Besides that I always upgrade my armor/weapons because (with enough skill) you can turn mediocre...
Kiir'Peytgravunn
Child of the Autumn Rose...
because my mother's name was Rose and she was born in autumn. Everyone in my family think I look and act a lot like her.
I wouldn't go that far. I've used the console to fix myself when I've gotten stuck because the game glitched. Also the console is great for testing mods. Those are really the only times I use the console.
I would consider cheating using the console to give myself anything I haven't earned...
1. Maeven Black-Briar: I hate how snotty she is. I'm sure my character has more money than she does and could mop the floor with her. She needs to show some respect. Worst choice for new Jarl. I wish I could kill her but it would break the game.
2. Jarl Balgruuf's kids: same reason as Maeven...
